Course Curriculum Overview

4

History is an interesting subject to explore and there are various topics in it which we delve deeper into The curriculum also prepares you to sit for Government exam's like UPSC Each person may have a different style of teaching but the important is to interact with students make it seem like a story rather than a burdensome task There are 2 semesters each year and internal exams for the subjects i do not think it's difficult

Fees and Financial Aid

For FYBA the fee structure for Open category is Rs 16000 as the number of subjects are more and there are two languages which is i paid but for Reserved category it is Rs 10405 For SYBA Open Category is Rs 15880 and for Reserved category it is Rs 10405 this is because in second year you are only learning one language For TYBA as in Arts you have to opt one subject in which you will learn for the next two semester and for whole one year the fees for TYBA Open category is Rs 12980 and for Reserved category is Rs 7665 and for TYBA Psychology Open category it is Rs 15780 as a certain number of students can only opt for it and for Reserved category it is 10055

Campus Life

5

There are many colleges in the university so in the late end there are many fests held different fests of different colleges in which students participate and volunteer the Somaiya University infrastructure is something you will not see anywhere this big campus is only one in mumbai Somaiya promotes sports heavily with a running track, a swimming pool, a squash court and tennis court

Admission

I did my Bachelors in KJSAC previously i did my Junior college in SK Somaiya Junior College so i got an inhouse in KJSAC I liked the campus culture and wanted to graduate from here only, not only educationally but the students also get a social exposure due to the various interesting fests the university helds

Faculty

4.5

The teaching faculty is really great I would say they are like a second family as you come down to your last year and you meet the same professor everyday you get to know them more better the teaching faculty has made it more approachable and comfortable for any student to come and ask them about any doubts and questions The best faculty for me is History Department of KJSAC I will forever be grateful to them they were so polite and respectful to every student and helped each and every student Exams are easy if you have studied as they provide Question bank it gets a bit easier but still you have to cover a lot of things

The curriculum is neither difficult nor easy. It is a good curriculum for even an average student. The teacher mostly used the traditional teaching method. It needs to be improved. The exam's difficulty level is not so high again good for average students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Yes, there is no specific place where we get to know that whether the college is open or not on a specific day like the day which has been declared closed by the government. The college doesn’t provide this facility for us. We have to move all towards our home to the college to get this thing.
