Course Curriculum Overview

5

The exams are not difficult at all if you are focused in the classes that is more than enough. The syllabus which has to be covered includes the information from the exam point of view and also gives you extra knowledge about what is happening. For example if you are studying Political Science there is past happenings in your syllabus plus the teacher will make you connect whatever you are studying with what is going on at present and that way answer writing becomes very easy.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The year wise fees for the course I pursued is 15000 INR. There is no additional fee apart from the CUET registration and the DU Portal fee which varies net 400-500 or lower than that. Scholarships are available for the lower section or the students who have taken admission through any quota.

Campus Life

5

The campus is bigger than you can imagine. In Miranda there are so many trees you are surrounded by, that you will never be done exploring the campus. The college provides opportunities to get into various societies & clubs of your choice. There is also a placement cell where you can apply for internships and gain experiences. The classrooms are very interactive and there are smart boards to make efficient use of technology.

Admission

I wanted to keep north campus of Delhi University at top and I therefore chose my preferences wisely. I got admission in Miranda House and apart from that I also prioritised other colleges like Hindu, Hansraj, St. Stephenes etc. For getting into Delhi University you need to pass CUET-UG with excellent scores (not below 750 for any course) the cut off is really high for the same so just give your best. Keep yourself updated with the forms released by college you want to enroll in. The admission experience will go very stressful but if you have studied hard and have given your best nothing will stop you!

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is very cooperative they sort all your doubts even of they are the smallest. The teachers are very nice & experienced so you won’t have any problem in studies. The exam is really easy you need to focus more on assessments which are taken by your teachers. The exam is however prepared outside and is easy so nobody actually fails. The course not only covers the paper but also gives outside knowledge about many things.

Placement Experience:

Yes people get intership at the end of graduation as there were many companies who came to provide internship to student . But for my course this never works because we cannot get any good job by doing B.a as its only theory.

I didn't give many miscellaneous exams but BMS. Although, I did try really hard to get in through ECA trials in music. English was always my passion, but so was music, which is why I yearned for North Campus. I started off by taking admission in Motilal Nehru College. From then in the next list, I jumped to ARSD, and finally in the very unexpected 8th cut-off list, I got DCAC. That was the best decision ever.
