Gujarat Law Society [GLS], Ahmedabad BTECH Review

The college inplies practical learning more than the book reading and old knowledge that doesn't contributes for the upcoming challenges...They have a well defined syllabus for making the students ready for the practical industry The exams have a significant gaps to help students preapre well and the exams aren't that hard if you just remember what is taught in clases and do your assignments regularly

The college helps with intership preparations and give their guidance for securing a internships but the college doesn't yet have good tie ups for interships but well prepared for job opportunities...the college helps the students for off campus interships from the 2nd year

The college provides a good placement guide with a well developed placement cell which is new but is working hard and have good tie ups with the major industries in the state The college have to yet pass out it's first batch as the college started offering Btech in the year 2022 But the other courses have a average package of 4-6LPA with a decent alumini network About 50-60% students gets the campus placements

For Btech GLS has a fee structure of ?70,250 per semester and as it is a private college it doesn't provides any scholarship but the college has merit cum scholarship which is provided to the top 3 toppers of every course and batch each semester The admission fees is ?20,000 and rest ?50,250 is the sem fee,which includes all the charges in this amount that will be charged.So,the fees for each sem comes out to be ?70,250 and Yearly fees is ?1,40,500

The college doesn't have major fests but have festivals fests and small programs here and there The library of the college is well equipped with all the necessary requirements for the course The classes are equipped with projects and white boards and AC's The college campus is very small but have a basketball court,volleyball court and cricket court but they are under renovation currently The college has started to accept student run clubs and has developed 12 clubs in the last 4 months and is getting more involved in the club culture and helping out students..The college has Coding club,dance club, Photography club,Drama club,etc

I didn't have any specific reasons but my friends suggested for this college as they had already taken admission in this college last year and also my relatives are close to this college plus is in a tier-1 city

The faculty to student ratio is 1:15 for Btech and the faculty of this college are the best and the most friendly teachers i have ever had and are very helpful to everyone There's no names to be taken that i like or dislike as all of them are amazing and can't be hated even if you don't like the particular subject The exams have a similar pattern as every Btech course of any college
