Course Curriculum Overview

Frequency of exams are slightly higher than I expected. I have interest in civil engineering that is why I chose it. Difficulty level is higher specially that or schools. Timings for classes are 8 to 5. break is between 1 to 3.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 32200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees for btech is ?37164. Admission fee is ?4250, annual fee is ?4354, semester fee is ?28560. Students pay food advance of ?20000 each semester. All categories pay these fees. University ward gets 50% discount. There are many scholarships offered in GBPUAT.

Campus Life

Induction programme of 2 weeks is organised for 1st year students to get to know their college. There are many events and technical festivals. Library has around 4 lakhs books. You can issue then or read in Library. Classroom are provided with smart class and speakers. There is also computing facility available in GBPUAT for students. There are different games clubs. Gym for both men and women is also available. Societies like cultural society, dramatics society, literary society and sankritik chetna parishad run by students and faculities.

Admission

I chose GBPUAT because it is the best university in uttarakhand and one of the best university in India. I didn't applied for any other colleges. For pursuing BTech in GBPUAT, you have to fill counselling from uktech website and give your choices for colleges and degree in your priority manner. There are 3 rounds of counselling. You have to pass12 with maths and appear in Jee.

MY COLLEGE AND ITS FACILITIES

Course Curriculum Overview:

Its environment friendly behaviour, Education and Gate rank especially helps me to choose this college . They helps in tackling real life applications by teaching us about the real life situation sometime by seminar hall 3-D representation and sometime by robotic club and sports activities . Some professors are the student of my college only their teaching attitude is not so good they should replace. Difficult questions are not there in the exam if you have gone through the lecture then you can easily solve all the questions . 3hrs. is the timing set in the semester exam

Good place for your undergraduate degree

Placement Experience:

placements are good here with a avg package of 5 lakhs but students who work reall hard get placemnts more than 10 lakhs the highest package at my time was of 58 lakhs and many got 10-20 lakhs package as well so i say placements aare decent here. Companies such as oracle adobe palalto visits here and they give higher packages to students.

An overview of my university (HNBGU)

Placement Experience:

After completing 3rd year students are offered for internship.From my university, placement offer for Btech students with an average package of 3 to 4 lakh. placement rates vary by program and year ,with some reporting over 70%placement with average salary of 2-3 lakh. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro,Tech Mahindra Etc. About 50-60%students got scholarship. Talking about the top roles that offered are software developer,data scientist and system analyst . After completing my course I,ll try to get on campus placement.

I choose this college as i wanted to pursue something in the field of medical / veterinary science . I always wanted to save lives of animals/people and was quite fascinated by how organisms function and how animals survive. I applied for agriculture college and was confirmed admission, but I was more inclined towards animal biology than plant . I tried for a medical College too , but my score didn't permit me to score a seat there. The admission process is through a pen and paper mode exam ( objective type ) containing questions from physics , chemistry, biology, general studies, aptitude and reasoning .
