- There is too much croud in the lpu campus.
- In our 2022 batch there were around 7000 candidates in btech cse.
- The gaurds are very rude they files umc in every small cases and the attendance is blocked.
Course Curriculum Overview
For me the couse curriculum is a not good bcz in the 1st and 2nd year we get to study various subjects which are not of any use in the field we choose after like a cyber security engineer has no use of the subject mechanical.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies are there which provides internships which can be seen from the placement portal of lpu I don't remember the names. The projects are like you have to make a fully functional website of anything or a application for different problem statement.
Placement Experience
The placement totally depends on you there are many companies coming in lpu like every 2-3 days there is 5-6 placement drives. If you study you can get a job at the average level i.e. 6-9 lpa per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm paying fees of 74000 per semester i have got a 38% scholarship through lpunest. The fee structure varies in the type of scholarship they got from around 0% to 40%. Without the scholarship the per sem fee is 1lac 20 thousand for btech cse
Campus Life
There are a n nos of clubs in lpu which conducts many events, you can get a fame from the club for your hobbies like guitar, singing, dance etc. you can also interact with your seniors through being the club members and get to know more about the lpu things.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is good for some point of time like you can get electricity 24×7 (free upto 350 units/yr) and get ambulance service at doorstep and the security cameras and security guards are there , but for going out from the campus you have to apply for a leave which you have to apply it from the website of lpu. You can't apply for a leave after 7pm earlier you can apply for a leave at any point of time and enter at university at any point of time.
Admission
I took admission because it was providing a scholarship and also i got to know from social media that it is a very good college and all but unfortunately it used to be a good college when there were less students and limited number of seats.
Faculty
Some faculties are very good polite and describes the topic very well good and while teacher comes and studies the ppt and none of the class students understand while we complain our hod for the chaneg of teacher it doesn't change at all you have to study by that teacher only. Marks criteria depends on subject to subject For maximum there is Attendance 5 Internal assessment 25 Mid term 20 End term 50
