Remarks
The college has a lot of positive and a few negatives, however, if affordable it is one of the best places to learn and thrive. The exposure is brilliant and life here holds a lot of experience. Overall I think I made the right decision by coming to MIT to study.

Entrance Exam
Course Curriculum Overview
The first year curriculum is common to all, students of many branches sit in one class and learn various basics that are applicable throughout multiple fields. However most subjects except one or two are useless as they're completely unrelated to a student's field. The syllabus is less and most students are stress free.
Internships Opportunities
My college does provide internships. However being in the first year, I have had no experience with internships. Though there are clubs that provide an opportunity to get technical internships abroad and the college itself provides internships in the 4th year.
Placement Experience
Placements are one of the most attractive features of MIT. The college has had a very good track record for placements in the past few years. Top hiring companies include Microsoft. The best placements are available for computer branches. The highest package last year was 40 LPA.
College Events
The college celebrates various events, the major ones being TechTatva (Tech fest) and Revels (Cultural Fest). College also has events to celebrate various festivals like Diwali, Holi, Makar Sankranti, etc. The fests and events are all conducted well and are very fun.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being a private college, MIT's fee structure is mighty expensive with the course expense itself coming up to around 14 Lakhs. The hostels are also expensive with single non AC rooms and double AC rooms costing 1.36 lakhs a year. Overall fees for a course comes to around 20+ Lakhs a year.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are two scholarships available. 1) Based on rank in MET: Students who secure the top 100 ranks in the MET are eligible for a 100% scholarship. 2) Based on Income: If the student's annual family income is below 3 lakhs, he/she gets 100% scholarship.
Campus Life
MIT has excellent fields and courts for sports. Football, Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, Swimming are some of the examples of sports played here. Labs at MIT are decent and have all the required facilities. MIT also has its own workshops for student projects which are functional 24/7.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastructure and facilities are really great. The hostels are very comfortable. There are a lot of facilities available for the students on the campus. There are multiple grocery shops, restaurants, juice shops, cycle repair, etc. available. The facilities provided ease of living in the hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
The most famous alumni of MIT have to be Satya Nadella and Rajeev Suri. The former is the current CEO of Microsoft and the latter CEO of Nokia. The seniors themselves are very helpful. Joining a club can be really helpful for interaction.
Exam Structure
There are two sessionals, four assignments and one end semester exam conducted per semester. The sessionals are exams of 15 marks and two exams are conducted in one day. Assignments are open book tests conducted in the class itself. Assignments are worth 5 marks each. The end semester exam is 50 marks and conducted at the end of the semester. Failing in the end semester can result in the Makeup exam during vacation. If a student fails the makeup exam as well, he/she gets detained in that subject
Admission
MIT conducts its own entrance test called MET after which there's a counseling session. After the counseling session, the student can also participate in further rounds to get a better field. The counseling takes place in May while college starts in July.
Faculty
The faculty except a few are really bad. They seem less interested in teaching the subject and more interested in what students are doing in their class. The faculty also make the lecture and subject really boring and it's hard to learn anything.
