Yet typically all the students are alloted as per their admission order. There's no room blocking or anythng possible in hostel. Hostel fee is a total of 1,200 only for entire 4 years. The mess bill ranges between 68-82 ruppess per day depending on the food. The menu is quite balanced and there's options for both vegetarian and non vegetarian. Additional snacks and fruit are available everyday Snacks are usually healthy snack consisiting soaked pulses, sprouted pulses, biscuits etc. Affordability and facility in hostel is sufficient enough that there's no need for renting a room outside the campus. Campus life is the best life

Admission

I had applied to other universities too- TNEU, TANUVAS, TAMIL NADU ARTS AND SCIENCE, NEET. Was allocated seats almost in all colleges and I had to choose one. Becoming a doctor was my dream as i could not get into a medical school I opted Bsc hons food, nutrition and dietetics to be my ideal choice as it can help me become a dietetician or allow me to help the public. The admission process was through my 12th grade mark followed by application in the TNAU portal and a counselling session. We have a sliding opportunity, which enables us to choose a better college as per our chosen order of colleges. Looks complicated but is a better and simple system

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course covers the basic of the subjects and we have not gained advanced knowledge. Although well prepared, it was difficult to attend the entrance exam in other institution. Practicals are less than theory. So the course should give more deep knowledge about the subjects and also practical knowledge.
