Likes

The course syllabus were very good and it covers all topics in energy and Environmental Engineering and the placement opportunities were also good in accordance with our course and the management was keen enough to organise many cultural and sports .
The food on hostels were moderate to good but not as bad as in many colleges , water will be a problem sometimes
The library and playground facility were too good

Dislikes

The self supporting fees will come around 40000
Timing was morning 7:30 to Evening 5:00 pm
The management attitude on collection of college fees

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is good . The course structure is well bound and will update to the latest changes around and practical classes were too good and helps in placement

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I was offered with a internship opportunity in Larson and toubro construction limited, in Environmental sector.The internship opportunity were very high and many were placed in the same company they done internship.

Placement Experience

The college itself have a placement cell in the centre for students welfare and placement opportunities are too good here . The college will help as long as you need to get placement. Connecting through seniors is the best way to get placed

Fees and Financial Aid

The Course has 8 semester, each semester fee goes around 60000 including self supporting fees and hostel and message bill will come around 4000 per month. There is TN government scholarship for each year

Campus Life

The college campus is a eco friendly one , it has many club and you can join any based on your interest.Clubs like eco club , food club , Literacy club etc. Each club has different activities in special days

Admission

This was the only college I was applied for and i got .The admission process is online. We have to apply and choose the course weike upload the documents and wait for counselling results. If you didn't like the course or college you got you can apply for sliding.

Faculty

The B tech Energy and Environmental Engineering course will cover all aspects in renewable energy technologies and the environment covers courses on environmental science, sustainability and environmental governance, EIA etc..

Night Life

The college has gym facilities, cafeteria with all necessary items, has a very large library with more collections of books and very useful. Hostels timing were 5:00 am to 10:00 pm for boys . Girls has some restrictions

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was good. I would suggest to add indept concepts of vlsi like verilog, sv, uvm. The defficulty of the exams was medium but semester is a bit tougher if the students follow all the class he can manage it

An Amazing Lookback of College Days

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well designed and covered both fundamental and advanced concepts. We choose elective papers each sem one paper from third sem. That selection of elective papers made us to do case study of real world exposure and competency. The curriculum prepared us for the reasonable real world applications. Also workshops and internships bridged the gap between industry expectations and academics. The teaching methods are really supportive and knowledgeable. On the whole the curriculum was strong and but needs to be imapctful.

My college - TNAU

This is the top universities in Tamilnadu. 12th mark is enough for the admission in this college. The cut-off mark is about 195 for MBC Category and 197 for BC Category and 189 for SC Category. And for engineering Student the cut-off is about 178. For the other state students they need to write ICAR exam for the admission. I choose this college because of the top 1st in Tamilnadu.
