Remarks

As far as the infrastructure is concerned, the building is good. The classrooms are spacious. The college has two well equipped computer labs. I was not very happy about the library. Even though a separate building is allotted to the library, the books were very less in number. A new building was being constructed during the time our end

Merit List

Course Curriculum Overview

4

In my opinion After completing BCom if you interested in continuing education you will go for CA, otherwise best you will attend Bank exams like IBPS, if you PASS Preliminaries (CA) you get a chance to work with CHARTED ACCOUNTANT, here you get two advantages

Internships Opportunities

Placements of Dyal Singh college are moderate, many companies like Wipro, Mahindra tech, Tcl, etc comes to our college for recruitment. Many students are already placed in big companies, Delhi University is always famous for its placements, and Dyal Singh college is a part of Delhi University as well, So placements of Dyal Singh college are very good

Placement Experience

3

Placement cell in the college is good but no all students get placed due to increased competition resulting in a low percentage of students getting placed More often you have to wait for the placement But good

College Events

4

Events are popular to us because we enjoy it like efo and comhub try our best to manage everything that we have to do last year We all know Hardy Sandhu has visited and he sang many songs and many events like fashion event used to happen here

Fees and Financial Aid

The placement cell of the college is very active. The students get around 3-4 internship offers every month sometimes more than 4 also. Most of the internships do not provide a fixed amount some are strictly for experience and no stipend is provided at all but a few give nice stipend on an average stipend is around Rs 5000. Otherwise, the companies always give a certificate of the internship and in some cases a letter of recommendation too. The work experience is nice although it is very tiring for the students but they get to learn a lot of new things.

Campus Life

4.5

The life at Dyal Singh College is really exciting one can collect a lot of memories in his/her journey of 3years. There is always something exciting and interesting thing happening in the college be it the fests or the workshops by various officers the college always tries to provide its students with ample knowledge and experience. The societies are very active they help to learn new things and adds diversity in one's personality. The gender ratio is almost equal in every department there is no such variation. The societies help students to take part in various competitions which helps the students to gain knowledge and face various situations which help them in the future. One can find students going to state and national level competitions from college. The students are given all kinds of facilities in the field of sports.

Hostel Facilities

3

Not great. Decreasing quality coupled with increasing prices means that students are slightly put off by the canteen, in spite of the food being quite good, actually. The Chole Bhature, Spring Roll, and Chowmein (or Chomin, as it’s spelled in Delhi) are to die for. However, it gets pretty crowded sometimes, so you’d had the best to catch your seats on time

Alumni/Alumna

Dyal Singh College celebrates a lot of events like- 1. Freshers party for the new students 2.Various fests by different departments 3.Fests by different societies 4.Internship Fare 5.Annual fest in the month of March 6.Workshops by different well known organization. 7.Various other interactive sessions for the purpose of spreading knowledge.

Exam Structure

The college conducts semester end examinations for both even and odd semesters. The college conducts examinations twice in a year. The examination for all the odd Semesters is conducted in the months of November-December while the examination for all the even semesters is conducted in May-June. The result of Odd semester examination is usually announced in the month of January every year while the result of the Even Semester examination is announced in the months of July-August. Students who are enrolled in different courses in Dyal Singh College

Admission

First of all, I have applied online undergraduate registration form it will cost you 100 rs then after almost two weeks all du's college will release their merit to get admission in every college You should go with that college and with your grades

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam is well-structured and covers all the core subject relevant to the field . It help in building strong theroritcial knowledge but lacks enough real-world case studies and industry exposure . Exam are conducted regularly and are of moderate difficulty . Adding more project-based or skill oriented components would make the course more practical and beneficial for placements or higher studies .

When students enter 3rd year of their college , they are eligible to sit for placements but should have minimum 8 CGPA .A lot of companiess visit campus , details of companies are on the website of college. The highest placement till now is 20 Lakhs per Annum and average goes around 6-7 Lakhs per Annum. A decent percentage of students get placed. Honestly most students here are pursuing professional courses so they don't sit for placements instead continue with their courses .
