The ALIGARH muslim University - since 1875

the schedule gets hectic with the continuous projects, assignments, exams, and tests and with classes. i would say the preparation by them for the real world applications is not that good. the difficulty of the exams is moderate.

the internships are provided by the college in the final year and the opportunities are really good with experienced lawyers of supreme court and successful alumnis of the the aligarh muslim university.

the admission fees asked at the time of admission was 14425 INR. the fees was same for the all the students except those belonging to self finance and of nri category i was admitted under the category of child alumni

there is law society with various branches such as moot court, secretary, media, editor and many more and the interviews are conducted for the same also there are regular programs held, for which the volunteers arenasked to take part

the HOSTEL facilities are adequate, the room allotted to first years are mostly utility rooms in which 4 students have to stay together in bunk beds, some issues are there in the utility room but they get upgraded to two seater in the second year the meal for the week is fixed and very rarely changes, the quality is okay registeration is quite easy, you go in and fill the required form and submit the documents and a room is allotted to you after the fees payment

i also applied to jamia millia islamia, i was waitlisted in that college but in the meanwhile i got in aligarh muslim university, that too in regular category with minimal fees and my father is an alumni here, so i also wanted to have some history here too the admission process is simple, the students fill the counselling form and wait for the firm list and if the students get selected they pay fees via same website

most of the faculty members are nice and supportive of the students. the students can approach any professor with their issues and they are guided accordingly. before the mid term, there are two sessional exams and projects and viva/ presentation of each subject
