Likes

The campus is very good with very spacious classes.
It has a spacious parking lot for both cars and bikes.
It has good reputation in the companies view.

Dislikes

The teaching is not effective to the real world work.
The fees is not realty worth to its syllabus and very high where everyone cannot afford.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course doesnot bring that much effect in learning the real world application. That to with camparison with this fees. The teaching methods is fine but can be improved in increasing students evaluation. The frequency of exams is difficult and is a pressure with all the internals

Fees and Financial Aid

7 lakhs/per year 650000-tuition fee 50000-registration fees, admission fees, other fees 10000 non refundable amount to be paid-Management fees. Cet students fees- 1.75 lakh per year. Scholarship is given for top 25% grade students but it is just 1000,2000, top student gets 25000 The fees has increased compared to last batch and intends to increase more in the future. Total fees: Management seat- 14lakhs total fees Cet seat- 3.5lakhs total fees

Campus Life

The festivals, sports and extracurricular activities are done moderately but don't encourage for mba students. There are many clubs in the college but due to time constraints of classes mbas cannot take part much.

Admission

The thought of this college was different while joining as the campus was good compared to others. I had applied for Rv college but other sources said pes is better so i joined I couldn't join other colleges because the seats were full The eligibility is 60% in degree for management seat and an interview The cet should get rank within 300

Faculty

MBA here has 6 trimesters where 1 sem is completed within 3 months. Faculties here are most experienced and very helpful but student has to put effort in asking the queries The exam is easy to pass but difficult to get higher grades as they do not provide the marks.

My MBA journey through CMR Institute of Technology

Placement Experience:

In 3rd semester is when you will be eligible for placements or internships. Therr are different companies that take initiative to come for hiring and for MBA the highest pacage was 9LPA which keeps increasing every year and the college also put alot of effort to make sure all the students gets placements. And the average package is 6 to 7 LPA and there are alomst 75% of students who get placements on how well you perform and they will also give you various training tha are given to every student which helps then in interviews and to get placed and ther is TYL program which is Tie you laces that comes with aptitude and verbal training which is important for and placements or job. And my plan is to get a good job in the most reputable company

Pgdm At JAGsom - My Honest Take

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester, We have our internship as IIP. The companies coming are namely, Blackrock, Oxane, Zepto, Informatica and more. The placements are going well for Marketing and Finance. The Highest package is 50lpa and median is 10lpa. But if you stay in top 10-20% in your batch you can get, 13-14lpa. The profiles offered are of management trainee, financial analyst, data analyst, etc. Around 60-70% of the batch gets placed, but cracking interviews for placements is in student's hand.

Life in PESU

Except PESU I applied for MCC banglore, MSRUAS banglore, Chanakya University banglore and Reva University banglore and got offer letter from all the 4 universities. I choose PESU over the other universities considering fee structure, infrastructure, curriculum, importance give to extra curricular activities, proximity to main parts for the city etc. The admission process in PES is quite simple, first we have to fill an application form, then we will be having an interview. Once we get qualified in the interview we will be asked to pay the seat blocking fee. Then after few weeks we can pay the pending amount later will have to go to the university for documents submission.
