Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum of my branch physics is quite related. There are in depth physics concepts including quantum mechanics from 3rd year. The subjects are quite interesting and difficult since it dives into deep knowledge

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Various foreign internship are been provided by the college. Many of our seniors went intership into top iits and other famous research institutions like IISC bangalore. Few of them went abroad as well.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are good here. The maximum package this year was around 50 lpa. Even msc students bagged 20lpa package in svnit. If we have enough skill and knowledge the college offers various opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you want to complete msc along with staying in hostel. The total fees for 5 years ranges from 10 to 11 lakhs however the course fees alone comes to 5 lakh. The fees seems to increase every year. There is no scholarship for msc students however there is scholarship for btech

Campus Life

4

Clubs are really good at svnit. Lot of different clubs are present. Like dance singing photography videography coding science and so on. NCC is really good here. The sports are also good. In inter nit various prizes are won by svnit alums. Two main fests are kashish and sparsh which is awesome.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The hostel facility is overall okish. The first year hostel is very old. But food and room are ok to adapt. The bathrooms are also old but they clean regularly. From second year the hostels are good and clean

Admission

The first thing first is it is an NIT and has its own tag value. Besides it I want to explore new city and new life. Also I was more into research. So I preferred doing physics at nit Surat. The admission process is just cracking jee mains with a good rank preferably less than 50k crl

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio is quite good which comes for 1:5. Teachers are well qualified and has a deep knowledge of their subject. The exam pattern includes 4 exams for 1 year. There will be internals separately. Most of the students easily pass in the exams

Other Applied Colleges

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Cyber Security)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The student ratio is a bit higher as mostly the females prefer to do forensics sciences. The male ratio is lesser than the female one. In my class, the ratio of males to female is about two ratios eight. The exam is not as hard and it's on a basic level as compared to that of the Jai and its level but as the University has started itself from the beginning, the level is getting harder.
