The college atmosphere is really nice and positive.

Dislikes

No hygiene is maintained for washrooms. A bit importance should be given to college infrastructure.
The faculty changes a lot. Class schedule is not followed

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this college as it is a part of Delhi University. Overall it is a good college but there is always scope for improvement. I believe it has been a bit ignored by other colleges because it is off campus and a women's college. I wish the college was more active in inter College competitions and extra curricular activities

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The college environment is very good but the facility changes too frequently. The students are very polite and helpful. I wish the college spent a bit more on infrastructure especially the washrooms. The yearly fee is around 10K. You'll have to pay examination registration fee every semester.

Campus Life

The campus life is alright. It's very peaceful. There are a lot of clubs and societies which one can be a part of. There are a few sports and extra curricular activities as well in the college. Overall I believe there is a lot to do around the campus

Admission

My batch was the first one to get admissions through CUET. It was a bit chaotic at the beginning as there were hardly any guidelines for making a college preference list as the whole concept of CUET was quite new .

Faculty

I wish the faculty was more permanent. Some of the teachers are very supportive but then there are a few who have no interest in teaching but are more interested in making the students miserable. The exams are alright.

Future shaping journey

Placement Experience:

Placement cell works in a very well coordinated manner and provide good placements. From third semester student can apply for campus placement. Deloitte, Ey, KPMG, PWC, American express, Accenture etc I would like to do master first before getting any placement.

In 3 rd year student aee offered with the placement opportunity and the average package is form 5-6 lacs and the highest package is 22 lacs but as the strength is more no of stundent, no of placement given to stidenr is less bit also placement depend on students ability.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1.I was interested in commerce subjects, thus I opted for B.com. 2. The course curriculum in college are mostly practical which is used in real life for example, tally or excel. 3. every week a vestibule job class should be given. 4. My College Life Review

Placement Experience:

Yes, Campus Placement is there in the college but it's not more then 5-6 lakhs. For placement marks doesn't matters much but your skills matters. So, You have to study hard and definitely have some great skills to survive in this competitive world. As it's a girls college, Many of the girls settle in their lives as held in an Indian family, and most of the girls also go for higher studies after their graduation from the college. And the rest go for Jobs in the corporate sector as well as govt. sector. If talking about me I will go for job then do my MBA after that my own business. I am not going for the placement from college.

Remarks:

My main reason why I choose this college was that the campus and the crowd of this college is really good. Also the best part about cvs is that all the sports teams are excellent and they have a good number of societies to be a part of and be involved in extra activities as well, rather than only studies. The stuff and security system is great. CVS also have additional vocational courses and language courses which is a plus point because they provide us with the best studying material.

My College Expectations vs Reality

I applied to many other colleges of du. My sim was to get admission in du university be it any college. Though I never tried to change my college as it's near my home anu other du campus would have been too far away which would have been challenging for me as I face medical problems. Though there are many areas in which my college would have been better than other colleges like washrooms which are unhygienic, water facility which is there but water is not purified, no gates in washroom,congested space of college,no student wifi works properly,even students personal mobile data does not work, college campus is in congested space,the auditorium of college is in bad condition it does look like auditorium it require immediate attention....Read More
