Course Curriculum Overview

4

There are different labs for each subjects with good equipments. The teaching methods may vary from teacher to teacher but overall it's good. Lab activities are conducted three days a week and there are different fests related to the curriculum. Various labs are there.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have to pay 80,000 per annum. The fee structure varies from departments and programmes. However the popular courses of Kristu Jayanti college are as follows : MBA:? 1 to 1.5 lakhs BBA: ?1.5 to 2 lakhs Bsc: ?60000 to 95000 BA: ?45000 BCA : ?1 lakh

Campus Life

4

There are various fests held for different departments and those fests are mainly related to the course. Alot of clubs are there and the sports facilities are really good. The college offers a lot of facilities when it comes to sport like basketball court football play area and badminton court.

Hostel Facilities

2

The rooms are quite decent but the beds are too small. And the cupboard area is not quite good. The mess food is decent sone days but the lunch is not quite good and the dinner sometimes tastes weird. But overall it's an average experience

Admission

I choose this college mostly because it was preferred to me by my seniors and there was an interview round conducted for admission where questions about the course and related to it were asked. The cutoffs are decent for the programmes and I got admission based on my 12th board exam marks.

Faculty

4

We have semester exams after every 6 months and two mid term exams before every end semester. The marking scheme varies from department to department and regular self assessment or prep course tests are conducted.

Placement Experience:

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Around 60-70% of eligible students secure placement each year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

• Only the last semester students are eligible for campus placements if any approach us. • No companies visit our campus of Interiors till I've seen. • You get a list of companies with openings from the college and you can apply on the same. • As mentioned when the college holds a program for the final years companies might choose you there based on your work.

Remarks:

Positive remarks: • The senior, junior, classmates are very helpful and cooperative. • The professors are also very helpful and concerned about our studies. Negative remarks: The authority is not so helpful. They take many steps against the students' sake and this is the main cause for decreasing the college's overall performance.
