Remarks

I have mentioned about good things the few bad things I really like to tell are bad, really bad canteen the canteen space is huge but the canteen food is pathetic glad that there is a bakery in the food court and a lot of eateries are present all around t

Entrance Preview

I took K-CET and scored 605th rank i opted for MSRIT just because of its infrastructure the space is awesome it's a city I took electronics and communication where I passed out with about 78%.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum for electronics and communication branch was average but that of computers were really good, on par with IITs the curriculum changes every semester, so it's good to follow the trends in the industry.

Internships Opportunities

There was no option for something called as college Internship students are preferred to do projects on their own which is actually bad. I seriously encourage students to go for internships separately.

Placement Experience

4.5

Excellent. 99% of the students get placed but more than 75% of them give an annual salary of 3L but about 150-200 students would get a package of more than 5L and about 60-70 would get more than 10L per annum cisco being the best at 10.9L.

College Events

4.5

Uddhav the annual cultural fest is what all MSR Itians will cherish for the rest of their lives it will be huge, boom, fantastic you never miss it there will be other department festivals once in a year except from E&C dept.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is as per the Karnataka CET structure but the college demands an excess fee of about 12,500 as other fee every year and about 600INR as exam fee every semester and about 1500 in final year as alumnus and other fee apart from this, there is actually no cost involved.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship loan will be provided from the college, but there are other govt non-govt scholarships that the college will inform and let us take it.

Campus Life

5

MSRIT is the best in campus life the infrastructure is world class, great crowd, awesome girls, lot of workshops, large number of different societies, zero intolerance to anything only thing is that there is no politics in the college i mean no student union, elections etcEverything is run by college menegment.

Hostel Facilities

4

Below average it costs about 50k every year with food and shelter but the food quality is average and not so many varieties you get irritated at the food when you come to final year.

Alumni/Alumna

To be honest only about 3-4 times in the entire 4 years we had an interaction with the alumni. But the seniors present in the college are really good actually there is absolutely no difference between a junior and a senior everything goes smoothly.

Exam Structure

Exams are all 50-50 based 50 internals and 50 externals internals tests consist of 30 marks, an average of 2 tests of the best of 3 tests will be considered and remaining 20 will include seminars, quiz, mini projects etc there will be a semi end exam for

Faculty

The faculty are all almost PHDs very good in knowledge but below average in teaching nonetheless, the faculty are extremely good when approached individually.
