All about the prestigious Nowgong college (autonomous)

The college doesn't organised many big programs but few freshers,some cultural programs and some sports programs,but the program are very nicely organised ..the seniors organisation are very good they take care of the curriculum very nicely..the teaching methods are of top notch ...each semester has 2 exam one mid term and one end term.

Per semester admission fee for bsc is nearly 5000 rupees,and the form fill up fee for per semester is 1250 rupees.. And there is no fee required for economically backward students they just need to saw their income certificate and post a post with saplings....and the admissions dee for b.com and BA is 4200 rupees...many scholarship are also available for poor students by the Assam govt who are studying in govt colleges Basically nowgong college (autonomous) is a govt college under Guwahati University..

The college is not so big not small it's decent,but there is no playground not any big canteen....though there 4-5 big auditorium where cultural fest and program are held ... many big scheme and initiatives are also available in nowgong college that is NSS and NCC

I also applied for Rabindranath Tagore university hojai..but I didn't take admission there becoz I didn't get my prefared subject.. The admissions criteria for nowgong college is decided on the base of 12 boards result and also through cuet admission are taken .to apply for nowgong college anybody has to pass 12 baards with more then 50 % marks and then apply for it and if their name comes out in the list they r eligible for admission

The faculty to students Ratio is about 3 The teacher student relationship are very good and they are very supportive and helpful and guide the students through good path,but few teacher are little bit egoistic There are 2 exams for each semester,1 sectional and 1 final term
