Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course in integrated bsc MSc in physics hons. So the course is good. If someone has intrest in physics and astronomical sciences then he/she must opt for this course. We also have good research facilities here at CUJ so if someone has intrest in research field them he/she can go for it also I don't think there is need of improvement in course curriculum. Frequency of exams is also fair. There are exams in every 3 months

Placement Experience

2

Usually the mba and b.tech and b.voc students get placements mba 4th sem , b.tech 8th sem, b.voc 6th sem students are eligible for placements companies which visit our college are mass recruiters like Wipro, TCS and some edtech companies also visit. highest package was 12 lpa and the average is 3-3.5 lpa the most placements were from mba and b.voc. only 25-30% students get placements . After getting bachelora i'll do masters

Fees and Financial Aid

I am pursuing my graduation at central university of jammu my semester fee is 8000 per sem. Which is 16000 per annum. If you don't opt for hostel then you have to pay only this fee. This includes everything the lab fee, examination fee, development fee & this is same for all categories general, OBC, SC ,ST. here we don't get any scholarships from the side of university. If you opt for hostel then the lodging fees is 8000 per semester & 3000 mess fee per month. The fees is not increasing. overall the university and course is affordable for most of the people comparing to other universities.

Campus Life

3

There are some annual cultural and tech fests like in the February cultural fest "udaan" Is there and sopts fest "comatica" is there in October-november library is pretty big here you'll get books on allmost everything here. Classrooms are equipped with latest technologies like smart boards and projectors Sports facilities are below average here. There are many social groups and clubs there run by students like debate club , photography club, dance , music , e-sports , poetry, etc....

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are outside the campus at present but soon they will be shifted inside the campus. The new hostels are about to complete. The new hostels are very good from inside and outside . There is wifi in hostel and sport facility is also there gym facility. The mess food is above average menu is also different for different days of week hostel is also affordable you'll have to apply online for hostel on the university website

Admission

I got offer for addmission in many collage like shivaji college Delhi University, Hnbgu uttrakhand, galgotia university, chandigarh university but in shivaji college the course was b.a so I wanted to do bsc in physics In Hnbgu the location was not good according to me. In galgotias and cu the fees is ???? very high but here at CUJ the fees is also not much the location is also good enough and I got the course I wanted . I did not get admission in du in physics because of my preference filling i filled all the physics courses at low preference and the humanity courses at top. CUJ accepts the cuet score for ug and pg both the cutoff is moderate not much high not much low. And the addmission process is super easy

Faculty

3.5

The student to faculty ratio is nearly 35:1. The relationship between faculty and students is good because the average age of faculty is less here which makes it easy to communicate properly with the faculty members. And due to that the also relate and understand problems of students properly. Faculty is very easily approachable. In my department I like 2 faculties namely Ashish sir and onkar sir due to their good nature and knowledge there are a few faculty members which I don't like because of their behaviour with students only but I can't name them...????.there are only two exams in a semester - mid sem & end sem they are moderate.uf you are a average student then you'll surely pass them the course curriculum is also relevant the things we study are relevant for IIT jam, gate and other entrance exams

Other Applied Colleges

Galgotias University - [GU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Due to high fees

Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Computer Science)

Due to the location

Students are eligible for placemnt after third year. total 8 companies from local Food and beverage companies and agriculture related companie came for campus placements. Most of the student didnt take offers from the companies because none of the companies were offering more than 15k to 18k per month I also didnt take the placement offer for the same reason and now i am thinking for further studies from somewhere that have good placements Out of 23 students who were eligible for placements only 3 accepted the offer.

First of all, I had taken science in my 12th too, that is why I wanted to continue in science and due to my interest in physics and chemistry, I continued in this course. The curriculum provides me with Whatever is sufficient in my course and whatever knowledge I need, I will have more than that. Exam timing should be in the afternoon only because morning gets very late in coming due to which exam gets skipped, rest it is perfect

Course Curriculum Overview:

The forestry course itself is a unique course as it involves a major part that includes the practical stuff. The practicals aspect of this course attracts a lot of nature enthusiasts students. The curriculum helps a student for a a variety of tasks if he or she is from agricultural background. This curriculum should have some more importance to the upcoming technology such as AI. We have two exams and two classroom quizzes for each semester after every three months we have either end term or our mid terms.
