Courses are selected based upon personal choices and certain academic requirement criterias. Thus the courses become extremely relevant since students have freedom the drop and shuffle between cohrses based on preference.

Many companies offer various interships. The first internship is based on cgpa. Companies like apple, microsoft and amazon have thr highest cgpa cut offs. The second internship has an interview process testing skills. This internship often offers placements to students.

Students are eligible for campus placemnts from their 3rd year. Campus also offers two compulsory internships during the 4th and 6th semester. Placemnets percentage is 89% while other 11% continued for higher studies or founded startups.

Scholarships varying from 25% to 100% awarded on the basis of both merit and merit cum need basis. Tuition fee- 2.3 lakh per sem Admission fee- 50,000 inr (to be paid only during admission) Hostel fees- 27,500 inr per sem

Annual fests include atmos which is the tech fest, sanskriti which is the cultural fest and fervour which is the freshers fest. The campus houses every major sporting facility including ranji cricket grounds and extensive grass football fields.

Hostels offer two sharing rooms for first years and single rooms for 3rd as well as 4th years. 2nd years can opt for single rooms or can choose a wing of two sharing rooms along with friends. Hostel is extremely affordable. Mess food is healthy and edible.

Other colleges i cleared include iit dharwad, iit roorkee, nit surathkal, nit trichy etc through the josaa councelling portal. I chose bits pilani due to their high placwments and emphasis on true learning rather than the unnatural rat race.

1 is to 11 is the faculty student ratio. Very modernised academic system is present here. The current vice chancellor, Mr Ramgopal Rao, is the retired chancellor of the prestigiuos iit Delhi and is thus very qualified.

entrance is through a computerised mcq based examination called bitsat. its pattern is similar to the jee mains examination with a similar difficulty. topics asked in the exam were same as the jee advanced portions. marking scheme is +3 for a correct answer and -1 for a wrong answer. total marks of exam is 390. if all questions are attempted, the student is a given 12 bonus questions for 36 marks with the same pattern to be completed in the same time frame.
