The curriculum prepares you well for real-world applications, the reason i chose this course if because of my personal interest in computer science, the alumni network is really good and will help you obtain your desired job. Exams are conducted very frequently with many suprise quizzes, the difficulty is medium and the grading is relative.

approx 28000 per month stipend is offered with internships. Mostly startups provide internships are they give students more exposure and opportunity to learn more. Several projects and roles are offered which is based on the students' interests.

Campus placements start from sem 7 for single degree and sem 9 for dual degree. The list of recruiters is available on the bits pilani site. A few recruiters are Amazon. Apple, Microsoft, Cisco etc. I plan on making my own startup.

259500 term fee per semester in first year increases by 13000 every year. admission fee of 57100. Student union fee of 450 pa, student aid fund 225pa. Hostel fee of 20650 per semester. Mess and electricity advance of 10,000 per semester. Scholarship: Merit top 2% - 100% tuition fee waived next 1% - 50% waived Merit cum need top 5% - 100% next 2% - 50% next 5% - 25% next 10% - 10%

There are several clubs here you can join. Fests are also held regularly. BOSM - sports fest Oasis - Huge cultural fest APOGEE - Technical fest etc. There are facilities for nearly all sports. All fests are organised and run by students, members of the Student union.

Inside the room a wooden table,a shelf, an almirah are provided. The meal quality is not good and the menu is very bland. Hostel fees are quite low but the facilities provided reflect that. The registration is simple and is done along with admission.

I applied for btech computer science in IIIT bangalore but chose BITS Pilani over it because of the campus culture and better alumni network. You can get admission via BITSAT, if you are a foreign citizen you may take admission via SAT score but your fee will be significantly higher. Cutoffs are mentioned on the bitsadmission site.

The faculty to student ratio is high however all the faculty have a chamber consultation hour when you can go and personally meet them. There is a continuous evaluation. There are tutorial classes with less students per faculty so they can make you practice and revise the things taught in lectures. Tutorials also have small quizzes regularly which are added to your final score. The course curriculum for first year is common for everyone and inculdes bio, phy, chem, math ,thermo , Engineering graphics,Technical report writing,computer programming.

Only a written test, BITSAT, two attempts can be given. There were six counselling rounds. The cutoffs are mentioned on the college website. I did not prepare for BITSAT separately it was similar to jee.
