Negative remarks are -the security is very very tight, no better faculty for first year students and there are more positive remarks than negatives as I mentioned above. Finally, KMIT is the best choice for students who are interested in CSE and IT.

Entrance Exam

Computer science is the leading course and its necessary for all around technological development in the future. And I am very keen on computer coding, programming, computer science analytics and applications. Hence, it would definitely worth my career.

No, I am a first year student. So I didn't experience an internship. Our college provides placements but doesn't pay internships to work from college. I had come to know this from my seniors studying in the 3rd and 4th years.

The placements are quite excellent at our college. Many companies recruit every year and the percentage of students selected is always high compared to other colleges, KMIT is always a leading institute regarding job opportunities right from the 3rd year 2 sem.

Events are the backbone of our college. From the starting of the year, in January, a traditional Patang Utsav is celebrated. In Feb/Mar KMIT evening is grandly conducted. In July /Aug freshers is celebrated.in oct dandiya night is celebrated. Later Indra Dhanush.

It costs 77,000 per year. For students who got less than 10,000 ranks in the state entrance exam, no fee is to be paid only 5500 should be paid as an admission fee. For other students whose income is less, they should pay 42,000 per annum, the remaining fee is paid by the state government. It's not so expensive.

The best scholarship is provided by the state government itself. I receive a scholarship of 35,000 from the state government every year and the remaining 42000 I pay as my annum fee is 77,000. So, the state government provides a great scholarship facility to the students.

Extracurricular activities are very very good at my college. Additionally, our college provides training for cooking, python programming, electrical installations, robotics, business, English and other for all round development of the student . Labs are very good and better-equipped. Sports like volleyball, basketball, badminton, football are encouraged.

Our college does have a hostel facility. Because it is located in the center of Hyderabad city. And other infrastructure and facilities are very good. Canteen, classrooms, auditorium, library, ground, garden are very well maintained.

Yes, our college alumni and seniors are very helpful. They provide information and any help regarding events, and they help regarding curriculum and placements .best alumni are invited to the college to provide support to us.

Our college is affiliated to JNTU, Hyderabad. So JNTU is the core thing to conduct exams and the final certificate is provided by the JNTU university. For every semester a board exam is conducted by JNTU and credits, GPA is provided according to the performance in the exams.

I had written my state entrance exam for admissions into engineering EAMCET, after my 12th board exams .i had secured 10705 state rank and later applied for counseling. So I got this college based on my caste and EAMCET rank.

Our college has highly experienced faculty, but for the first year, the faculty of non-core subjects like chemistry, basic electrical engineering, physics, regardless of my branch is somewhat not good. I mean the faculty for computer science and the core subjects is quite excellent but for others, it's somewhat not good.
