An insight into academia and campus life at presidency university.

I took up ECE because it will help and benefit me in both hardware and software. Where i can deal with coding and also do hands on stuff related to tech and electronis. The course is a little tough but with the right faculty and good teachers i am able to do good.

The internships start from mainly in 6th or 5th semester of the college and it really helps and benifits the student in his or her career aspect. The internships provided by the college also provides stipend.

My college placements are good. If any student has a CGPA above 7 he or she has a very good oppertunity. Many good companies have reached out to us. Really good and big companies like Capgemini, Caterpillar had visited our university for placements and any student in 7th semester can apply for placements.

My yearly fee is 225000. We students write a government exam which is CET and based on that we will be given a seat in any college in Karnataka, and if any student scores really well then he or she will be given a seat in a good college, and also the fee will be reduced. If any student has not scored good marks then he or she can opt for a management seat in any college. And in my college if we opt for hostel or travelling by college bus we need to pay a certain amount. The transport fee ranges from 20000-45000 based on how far a student travels in the university bus. The hostel fee is around 100000.The fee of my bachmates is same as mine.

The campus life is really good. We recently had a 2 very big fests called as invencia and india today mindrokz where many influvencers, actors , celebrity, and also artists had come to perform. The facilities are really good too and studying in such a big university feels like we are in a resort. The extra cc activites are really fun and even sports is a very must aspect in our university.

I did not apply for any other college because i wannted to always get in Presidency University. MY college is really good in infrastructure and also has a good placement rate over the years. They put many activities around the college and it is really fun to participate and sometimes also to host it.

The faculty members are really good and also are very interactive with all the students , they also help the students in many different aspects outside of the college. They also support and help the student to write research papers and gain more information for a good career. I study the course ECE and there are 2 exams, Mid Term and End Term respectively. The marks scheme is total for 200 marks in which 100 is in End term and 50 for Mid Term, the other 50 is bases on lab records, and assingments.
