Likes

The infrastructure is modern and quite good
The environment to study and take part in cultural activities is great
Faculty is approachable and friendly if u have any doubts

Dislikes

It’s too crowded and jam packed most of the time
The dress code is extremely strict and the fact that girls and boys are supposed to sit together though it being a coed college
The timings is extremely tiring and hectic

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum maintained here is good. In consideration to the real world it's definitely easy. The course curriculum should be made while considering the students plea.Since there is very little time for them to engage in different activities as most of it is taken up to attend college

Internships Opportunities

Project like IPA during the first year which stands for innovative project using Aurdino board and during the second year IPR innovative project during second year are conducted . A group of 5-6 people are made.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee of u join through KCET is around 1 lakh additionally 20k has to be paid as lab fee. The fee is reduced to ?750 if you are from SC/ST category the additional 20K remains same . Mangement costs around 3.5lakh per year.Scholarships for students taking admissions through management is applicable.

Campus Life

The range of books u can find in the library is very good .You can access the books or take them home using your ID card.Sports and extra curricular activities are encouraged well.Attendance is given to those who participate .

Admission

I had to secure a seat in Acharya but couldn't happen due to the high cut off.Kect ,comedk and management are three ways u can get into presidency university (Rajanukunte ).The most preferred exam is the Karnataka CET.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is pretty good .It is sometimes a problem when the faculty is a trainee. It depends on each faculty.Some of them are extremely approachable on the other hand it's the vice versa.During the first year you cannot predict the paper .There are two exams one mid term and the other end term.Most of them end up clearing the exams taking subjects in consideration.

My College Story

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Experience at College

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. However the training and pre placement started for student from the first year itself like aptitude training coding resume workshops. The top companies like TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Capgemini IBM tech Mahindra mind tree. The average is 8lpa. The highest 54 LPA. Overall 80% of students get placed in the final year. My plan after degree is to get a good job.

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

Pros : World class infrastructure with moot court, sports fields like tennis court, cricket, football, volleyball and badminton court, Coffee Day shop, Hatti Kaapi, chaat shop, Stationary shop, Vending machines, Sodexo Cafeteria, Medical facility and ATM are inside the university.
