Remarks

The positive remark is that those are the place where you can learn things and set your future on the right path if you channelize correctly. The negative remark is that you may also be distracted toward other activities so keep focused and utilize the things in the proper way.

Entrance Exam

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is very interesting as they have the latest curricular and syllabus is student friendly and doesn't feel the burden on students. There are many clubs through which you can enhance your career and skills.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, you can always take the help of the professors to get into companies for the internship. Else you can also find on your own. The stipend for the internship depends on your performance and company. When I was in the year Boeing had visited our campus for the internship. They have also established a lab on the campus.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are pretty good. As most of the students get placed in some of the other companies. But to get a core job you have to try a bit harder and concentrate more on the basics. Around 95% of the students who appeared for placements got placed in a good company. And a few went to pursue higher education.

College Events

4

There will be plenty of events in the college like fests and other technical events where you can participate and have fun. You can even participate in other college fests. There are many clubs like NSS, EDC, debate clubs, dance clubs, quiz clubs where you can participate. And also you can also create you are own club.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For people who get into through government seats, the fee Structure is feasible. And for others, the fee structure may be expensive. The government seat can cost you around 2L for 4 years and other seats may cost you around 10L - 15L for 4 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

People who are in need and who perform well in the exams definitely will be awarded scholarships. But the students should be aware of the scholarships and keep an eye on the notice board as they are n number of scholarships available.

Campus Life

4.5

College also recognizes people who are good at sports and other extracurricular activities and reward them. Many people go for VTU level completions and have won many prizes for the college. The labs are well equipped with the required apparatus and tools for the students to utilize and make use of it for their projects.

Hostel Facilities

4

There is a very good hostel available on the campus itself. Depending on your needs you can choose the right one. The food may not be good enough as I have heard from my friend, but you will find many good places to eat as all types of cuisines are available near the college campus.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. There is a huge alumni network where the college calls them every year together and also recognizes them and also they help the students who are in need and give internships and scholarships to the students.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is just like most of the autonomous colleges. There will be 3 internals and you got to perform well in this internals to get eligibility for the Sem end exam. There will be assignments and quizzes where you can get marks easily. These marks give some relaxation for the students in the Sem end exam to score and get good grades.

Admission

I got admission through a Common Entrance Test (CET). I had a good ranking so I got a government seat. If you want to get admission in this college you should have very good rent in CET or COMEDK (another entrance exam).

Faculty

5

The faculty is student friendly and most of them are Ph.D. holders which helps students to grab most knowledge from them. Apart from that faculties are very much friendly and you can ask them anything regarding the subject as they are well versed in their stream and have experience in teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
