Likes

The keep cultural programs regularly which is so nice
And the hospital facility is improving a lot more nowadays
They provide stiphend during internship which is helpful

Dislikes

The rest rooms in the hospital wards is bad
Too many Dogs around the campus which is scary
Really mean people are there and I don’t like it

I wanted to pursue mbbs from childhood so I choose to join in this course and the management keep workshops to improve our skills which gives us more confidence and we r looking forward for more workshops

Internships Opportunities

In mbbs there is a compulsory internship of 1 year should be done to graduate . They let us assist few procedures and teach us during internship which is helpful for us to improve our skills and gain confidence.

Fees and Financial Aid

8lakhs per yr for a minority seat and 1.5 lakhs for a government seat which does not include lab fee and hostel fee that should be paid separately . The hostel fee is 1.44 laks per yr for a double sharing rooom and 1.24 lakhs for a triple sharing room . Lab fee is around 45 thousand per year

Campus Life

The conduct festivals like Ganesha Chathurthi and visarjana and then ethnic day is also conducted . They also celebrate Kannada rajotsava and make it like a cultural. We have fun during those times and really love it .

Hostel Facilities

They provide a cot and a cupboard also a study table rest of things should be brought by the student. They have attached washroom for double sharing. The mess food is quite okay also bad sometimes but we gotta adjust.

Hostel Fee: INR 144000 per year

Admission

I got through management seat and the donation fee was a little less compared to other colleges also this is close to my hometown so I can visit whenever I want . The admissions process was quite simple

They keep three internals per yr and we should atleast secure 50% in those exams to get eligibility and appear for the exam and the university exam in conducted during the month of February or March and the next academic year starts in a month or so

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

We have internals once in around 3 months and we have yearly final exams. The average of the three internals is added to the final marks to declare the results. The exams are of average difficulty. Not too difficult to pass.

Placement Experience:

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.
