Likes

The college campus is very good. They have good classrooms and facilities.
The canteen offers a variety of choices that caters to everyone.
The professors are well educated and knowledgeable and has good manners.

Dislikes

Saturdays are working. Which makes it hard for kids from other parts of the world to go home for weekends.
They will notify your parents if you miss any classes.
The canteen doesn’t have sufficient seating.

The course curriculum is very relevant to the course and today's world. Psychology is a great subject and allows us to understand people. This the curriculum prepares you well for the real world Teaching methods could improve by giving more study trips Timing for exams are good It's not too hard but also not very easy You have to study well

The campus life is pretty simple. They offer a lot of associations and clubs such as dance, music, film study, linguistics, creative writing and more Because of the associations and clubs, we are able to meet a lot of people and make new friends

I also applied to Christ university but they are very academic focused and strict compared to st Joseph's university. St Joseph's balance the co curricular activities with academics This my first choice was st Joseph's university and decided not to go to Christ

Faculty to student ratio would probably be around 1:100 Most professors are very kind and approachable There are 2 sets of exams for each semester. Mid semester exams for 25 marks and end semester exams for 80 marks The exams are a little hard compared to school. You have to properly understand the questions and answer. It's not easy to study as there are no textbooks only references. The curriculum is very relevant to the course

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

Placement trainings are not given for my course but there are internships interview from the college side which can be given in the final year and we can also get selected and go to the internship there are many companies who offer the internship

St claret - an honest review

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.

My Best college life

Placement Experience:

The placement training is providing by the college. And placement is also there. Ey, Deloitte, others companies also come to the college for the placement. The average package the company's provide is 7 lakh per annum. They 75% of students how are applied for the placement are getting the jobs. My plans after the degree is to go for higher studies.

Speaking of psychology and Criminology, hands on to their interactive classes with real life examples which makes learning more interesting, the department also held orientation programs and sessions for students. Speaking of English department they need to improvise the faculty for the English departmentm rest eveything is great.

Our college does provide placement. Big Companies like ITC, Marriott, Taj, Oberoi etc. come in and conduct interviews to select suitable candidates. And they provide a good salary as well. The average salary can be between 20 - 25 lakhs.

Remarks:

I liked the course provided by this college. The subjects are different for every semester and the aura is splendid. This college provides a very good faculty which not only is good at keeping up with academics, but also is great in keeping a good rapport with their students. There is a whole variety of extra curricular activities which brings out the core personality of every student. I for a fact, had stage fear. But after I chose MIC, I really started getting over it.
