Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen civil engineering because i have interest towards structures and the knowledge to how build things. The currculum prepares us as the starting step towards it we should only obtain knowledge about it through gaining knowledge from others. The internals will be conducted three times per sem. The exam timings are well maintained to encourage students and support them.

Internships Opportunities

The internships to be obtained by the students only. Only few students will be selected for internship by the college where many startup companies provide them and only small scale of big companies will provide internship.

Placement Experience

The placements in our college is not very bad or not very good. The college supports the rural area students and they conduct placement training a week in every sem for students so they can gain knowledge about it

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying 106000 per year, for four years i need to pay 424000.I have been admitted through KCET exam. I have applied for SSP scholarship. The scholarship issued is 20000 per year for me. The cet fees is 91000 and the lab and extra fees for college is 15000.

Campus Life

The college conducts vertex program every year and a fest on it where all the college students can enjoy it. The college also conducts project expo program where the students can show there talents through there projects. There will also be some art competitions and many other competitions interested students can participate.

Admission

I had applied for many other colleges but the nearest college to me was this and many colleges had removed the course i needed to choose. During the admission they collect all the documents required if not provided they will give some time to submit it.

Faculty

The faculty to student relationship is not bad and not too very good. The faculty helps the students in there studies as they are required to submit. But while doing some projects and reports they maybe rude towards us.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.

A Journey Worth Remembering

When I was selecting an engineering college I applied to several reputed institutions in Karnataka including Dayananda Sagar College of engineering Acharya institute of technology CMR institute of technology but I couldn't make it due to slightly higher cutoff in CET. I finally choose MVJ college of engineering because of its location infrastructure academic environment and placement opportunities. Situated in Whitefield it's close to several IT companies which is better and increases internship and placement prospects. The campus is spacious clean and well equipped with modern labs and facilities the college also has good reputation under VTU for maintaining academic decipline and quality teaching.
