Likes

The faculty are so down to earth and explains the concept very well.
The food provided in canteen is too good
The college environment is too good with green lush trees

Dislikes

No encouragement towards sports and other extra curricular activities
No college fests are encouraged and they have very strict rules for clothes.
Placement cell is not so good as the placement percentage is less than 20 percentage

Vtu curriculum is that influenced me to decide this course. Yes the curriculum prepares you for real-world applications or further academic pursuits. Practical knowledge for every student is the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods. 3hours is the exam duration for every level of paper.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 420000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is 420000 ,we to pay the fees every year which includes tution fees, admission fees, development fees,lab fees.the other batch mates fees is 105000. and no scholarship is provided for management students.

Campus Life

Swayam is the annual fest,and vertechx is the technical fest held in Feb to March. Every range of books are available and accessible through library card. Yes the facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms is good. Yes some students-run social groups, clubs, or student portals, including their impact on student life

Admission

No idnt apply to any other colleges. No i did not get a rejection from other colleges. Kcet,comed k, and the cutoff changes every year. The above mentioned exams score is necessary to get into our college.or you can get the seat by management also.

Faculty

20 to 1 is The faculty-to-student ratio. And the cc will maintain very good relationship with students. Kavya isThe name of the faculties i liked. Sujatha is name of the faculties you didn't like as she is not good in covering syllabus . They are 1sem end exam for every semester and it will difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum has the necessary subjects of the branch...It is constantly updated every year to adhere to relevancy and comphrehensiveness of the course..My department of AIML teaches us the necessary computer subjects such as Nature Inspired computing, Deep learning etc and also the Maths and Stats whch is required for machine learning is though too ( Like Maths for machine learn and statistical modellign, inferential statistics, time series analysis etc)..These subjects also have lab components which help us prepare for real-world applications. But some of the older subjects on the other hand which might be core computer science or in first year..common subjects like CAED and others are not required and outdated. The frequency and timings of exams is moderate..neither good nor bad

My Real Experience as a First Year DSAI Student at IIIT Dharwad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

Though i needed cse with cybersecurity but i didnt get it so i went with Robotics and ai. In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year

A Journey Worth Remembering

When I was selecting an engineering college I applied to several reputed institutions in Karnataka including Dayananda Sagar College of engineering Acharya institute of technology CMR institute of technology but I couldn't make it due to slightly higher cutoff in CET. I finally choose MVJ college of engineering because of its location infrastructure academic environment and placement opportunities. Situated in Whitefield it's close to several IT companies which is better and increases internship and placement prospects. The campus is spacious clean and well equipped with modern labs and facilities the college also has good reputation under VTU for maintaining academic decipline and quality teaching.
