I like the faculties they are very helpful and qualified
I like the fact that my College put seriousness in my academics
I like the lush green campus it has alot if tress

I don't like the facilities provided for sports
I don't like it because there are less fests
I don't like the canteen because it serves food which are not tasty

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum i believe is quite relevant I chose CSE because I want to work in the IT industry and i believe my College will set me well The management can bring into action more of industrial visits

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 420000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying rs 42000 every year My total fees will be approximately 17lakhs I came through management seat My batchmates are paying 105000 because they came through cet examinations I don't avial any benefits such as scholarships

Campus Life

We have swayam fest and vertex fest They are held every year The Library books and journals are updated and very helpful for the students The extra curricular activities and sports are very poor There are alot of clubs which is not performing very well

Admission

I choose this college over other colleges because my brother suggested me this It is quite manageable for management seat because the fees are quite affordable for many I got rejection from CMRIT because I failed to submit my documents on time For our college admission you should clear KCET examinations or come through management admissions

Faculty

The faculties and students are well balanced the faculties are approachable they are always ready to help I don't distlike any faculties they are all good and qualified in their own field The exams are quite manageable almost all students are able to clear the exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum has the necessary subjects of the branch...It is constantly updated every year to adhere to relevancy and comphrehensiveness of the course..My department of AIML teaches us the necessary computer subjects such as Nature Inspired computing, Deep learning etc and also the Maths and Stats whch is required for machine learning is though too ( Like Maths for machine learn and statistical modellign, inferential statistics, time series analysis etc)..These subjects also have lab components which help us prepare for real-world applications. But some of the older subjects on the other hand which might be core computer science or in first year..common subjects like CAED and others are not required and outdated. The frequency and timings of exams is moderate..neither good nor bad

My Real Experience as a First Year DSAI Student at IIIT Dharwad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

Though i needed cse with cybersecurity but i didnt get it so i went with Robotics and ai. In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year

A Journey Worth Remembering

When I was selecting an engineering college I applied to several reputed institutions in Karnataka including Dayananda Sagar College of engineering Acharya institute of technology CMR institute of technology but I couldn't make it due to slightly higher cutoff in CET. I finally choose MVJ college of engineering because of its location infrastructure academic environment and placement opportunities. Situated in Whitefield it's close to several IT companies which is better and increases internship and placement prospects. The campus is spacious clean and well equipped with modern labs and facilities the college also has good reputation under VTU for maintaining academic decipline and quality teaching.
