Course Curriculum Overview

4

The mbbs course curriculum is indeed very tiresome and lethargic .we as medical Stuart almost always with busy with one or the other exam or posting or viva or practical or internal and most importantly the 75% of mandatory attendance In lecture and 80% attendance for practical class and since it's that tiresome profession it makes us in a way very stone hearted such that all those blood and poops or pee or a vomit doesn't affect us a lot It prepare us as strong people capable of handling real life crossroads and pressure situations because as a doctor there is a basic level of pressure that we need to handle and manage our time efficiently and the mbbs course give us enough capability for that The course I think should provide some alternative of year back based on just lack of 75% attendance as in first year the lack of attendance just ruins an entire year of a student some of the students lack attendance because of medical reasons and they are still not allowed to sit in paper

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is quite good in first year we have a three seater room which is big and spacious but from second year we are shifted to shaheedpath hostel which have single seater rooms and provide with a reasonably big room a bed with a mattress , curtains, bulb and tube light, a table and chair, and a almira that's what they provide in the second year and another self with a wooden door , there are 24 rooms on one floor 12 on each side with a big open balcony in between and the 12 people share a 3 bathroom and 4 toilets then there is a water cooler also placed near bathroom section the bathroom are well with geaser and the 6 wash basin with beautiful big mirrors and they are regularly cleaned and the institute provide with a worker for daily cleaning of each room

Admission

I applied in just 2 colleges which were king George medical college and ram Manohar Lohia institute as they were the top most preferred college in Uttar Pradesh , I belong to Allahabad but I still didn't opted for Motilal Nehru institute because of the fact that the academic is not as great as rml and plus the infrastructure is also in a bad condition the air conditioning doesn't work the lecture theatre are not good and the discomfort will always affect the studies talking about GSVM earlier it was one of the greatest college but for today I just recommend of not taking it as it's getting bad for academic the faculty doesn't care for mass bunks the hostel faculties are horrible for girls the washroom are very far away from the rooms which is all a big problem both these colleges have a good campus which RML obviously doesn't have but still I would place good academic and comfort over campus

Faculty

4

The faculty at ram Manohar Lohia institute of medical science is quite good and experienced the are mostly from reputed institutes like king George medical university and are well versed with their subjects ,they are always on time for taking the lecture and they are good in teaching some small group learning are also organised from time to time which help in better understanding At last there are seminar organised where every student is given a topic they need to present before the professor and answer there question The professor are also very supportive for research and are easily approach able for help They are experienced in icmrsts program and encourage and guide students for research I really like our anatomy first year professors dr. Navbir Pasricha ma'am as she is one of the most adorable personalities I have ever met The exam include some regular part completion test the a major mid term examination with half the syllabus then profs and pre proff with entire syllabu

Other Applied Colleges

King George's Medical University - [KGMU] | Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery [MBBS]

The college is second most preferred college of uttar pradesh and there is a reason for that the academic is far more better than other colleges and the strictness in regards to other stuff keeps us well. But the campus part is lacking here I feel which

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was my dream destination career wise to choose MBBS . MBBS connects you to life and death the two most important aspects of being a human on this planet . Having a power to cure someone and make people smile and live again with health is something else. As in our India the population to doctor ratio is very less hence it's important for the young generation to understand and evaluate the decision of serving the country this way. MBBS is dream for many but reality for very few students all over the country. But the people reaching here face toxic culture also , as prestigious it is as disturbing sometimes it becomes , people over here do not understand the mental health of others So this aspect should be taken in to care and medicos should be handled with care by the society, government and also the seniors . The exams are big rat race , but it's really satisfying as a reader as you get to study and read a lot about medicine . So choose MBBS but not toxicity make your mind that you ll make it beautiful for yourself and also for your batchmates and juniors as well .
