The advancement of technology in the medical field is really in a fasting manner...new diagnostic tools are being used and since it is well known for its academics purpose
Infrastructure is so good..I don't think any state college would have this type of AC fitted new building and so much cleanliness
Every month....new events are being organised and full enjoy is there with the studies

Dislikes

Hostel is little far away from the college
Sometimes mess system is bothering a lott
Sports complex is still under construction

Course Curriculum Overview

This course includes everything that u need to become a good doctor...it includes postings clinics and other stuff in curriculum..it includes various subjects including anatomy phyio biochemistry etc total 19 subjects.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is compulsory in a mbbs course of 1 years after the 4 yrs academic course. Great opportunity in excelling the skills in working in the hospitals. In uttar pradesh , we receive 12000 per month as an internship stripend.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees regarding this college differs every year 1at year includes around 70-80000 /yr and then 2nd year includes 36000/year. The scholarships are being provided to the students every year..here are some policies

Campus Life

Infrastructure is awesome and tall and shiny building with AC fittings everywhere and high tech lecture theatre..sports is little backward facing..little scope for sports and campus life is good and events are being held every month almost

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is little far away from the college and I am in 3BhK flat where 6 people are sharing 5 balconies and 3 washrooms with 1 kitchen and hall...mess is good and rent is over 4000 per year...but still no sports

Admission

Admission is done by clearing the national level test neet... clearing the cutoff of respective category and everyuear neet is being conducted and admission is based on the marks u get for that particular college

Faculty

Faculties here are well qualified and doctors who practice and teach the students with the slides with animations, actual holographic pics and clinically oriented. We can easily approach the faculties to ask any queries

Night Life

The hostel and college are located in the heart of the city. So one will get a very good night life. Phoenix pallasio mall is located at walking distance and ekana stadium is just infront of the hostel so that we could enjoy the cricket matches held over the year.

College review at best: all the things I would want to know

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are clinics which give us experience of real world and opportunities to apply knowledge. Using newer technology could be beneficial. Final exams once a year and pre finals before that and 1-2 term exams each year along with practical and vivas Moderately tough and as the year passed it gets tougher.

Mbbs is a course which teaches you more than any teacher, it will teach you how to face insults, rejection, it will teach you to stand for hours and still not feel tired. My experience of private college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The profession I'm in is medical. The toughest of all. As from the starting I wished to be a doctor. The one who is second to a God. The one who is respected the most. The one who does the most prestigious job. As per the curriculum we have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years plus we have to attend the clinical posting in hospital , which exposes us to real world. The posting time is the time given to students from second year till year last. Improvement can be done in passing the exam part which is 50% in each subject. It can be 40 % marks. Currently I've given my MBBS second year which was hectic because of the vast syllabus. We have total of 5.5 year course for an undergraduate degree. Out of which 4.5 years is about studies rest one year is internship in hospital. We have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years. The mbbs course is very lengthy. Each and every subject is very vast. So we have to study maximum time. So all the very best those who aspire to be a great doctor

So admission to this college (and in general any other medical college and course) is through NEET. After clearing the exam you are allotted an ALL INDIA RANK, which provides you eligibility to sit in counseling and select a college. Mine AIR was 4011 which is a very decent one to get admission to top medical College of countries. Since I didn't wanted to leave the state so I applied for counseling of the state. KGMC is the top medical college of the state. Earlier GSVM kanpur used to be the second choice for candidates,but from when this college came into existence (in 2017) it soon left GSVM behind and became the second priority of candidates. I applied for two colleges KGMU Lucknow and Dr. RMLIMS Lucknow. I choose this college over other college because of its location, academics, good patient load, clean and green environment. Yes, i got rejected from KGMU Lucknow because of my low rank in NEET exam. A student have to get a NEET rank under 5k for general category to get in my college. Admission is done via NEET exam.
