SNMC Agra Admission Dates 2026

All MBBS admissions at SNMC Agra are driven by NEET UG 2026 scores. Fifteen percent of seats go through the All India Quota (AIQ) counselled by MCC. The remaining 85% are filled through UP state quota counselling conducted by the Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME UP). NEET PG 2026 drives admissions to MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats.

NEET PG 2026 counselling for MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats follows a separate calendar. AIQ counselling for PG seats is conducted by MCC, while the UP state quota PG counselling runs separately through ABVMU and DGME UP.

SNMC Agra Courses and Fees

SNMC Agra offers medical education across undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma levels. The MBBS programme runs for 4.5 years of academic training plus one year of compulsory rotating internship. Postgraduate programmes span 3 years for MD and MS and 2 years for PG Diplomas. Total fees are government-regulated and remain among the lowest in the country for medical education.

SC and ST candidates pay INR 1,34,500 as total MBBS fee over the full programme duration, reflecting the UP government’s scholarship and fee concession structure.

MBBS Admission

MBBS admission at SNMC Agra is entirely NEET UG-driven with no direct college-level test or interview. The All India Quota (AIQ) covers 15% of MBBS seats and is counselled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at mcc.nic.in. The remaining 85% state quota seats are filled through UP NEET UG counselling conducted by DGME UP.

• Eligibility: 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB for General Category (45% for SC, ST, and OBC). Must have completed 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year.
• AIQ process: Register on mcc.nic.in after NEET UG result. Fill choice of colleges including SNMC Agra. Seat allotment based on NEET UG rank across multiple rounds.
• State quota: Register on the DGME UP portal. Choice filling and allotment rounds are held separately from AIQ.
• Documents required: NEET UG scorecard, 10th and 12th certificates, caste certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar, and passport photographs.

Students comparing UP government medical colleges for MBBS admission often evaluate SNMC Agra alongside Motilal Nehru Medical College (MLN), Prayagraj, and Maharani Laxmi Bai Medical College (MLB), Jhansi. All three are government-funded, ABVMU-affiliated, and NMC-recognised institutions filling seats through NEET UG and UP state quota counselling.

MLN Medical College Prayagraj has a larger attached hospital (1,300+ teaching beds) and a higher NEET UG competition level, reflecting stronger demand. SNMC Agra’s 1854 establishment gives it the oldest legacy of the three. MLB Medical College Jhansi serves the Bundelkhand region and is somewhat less competitive by NEET closing rank.
