Course Curriculum Overview

Good curriculum as per current situation related. practical exams improves practical skills. For 10 points ogpa given. 50 marks internal and 50 marks external awarded for students.moderate exam level and exams has both objective and subjective.

Class Size: 128Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Placement Experience

IDBI Bank, many private fertilizer and seed companies including pesticide companies.3 to 4 lakh package was informed.after degree we can prepare for competitive exams or continue academic by joining master in different departments of agriculture by writing JRF Exam

Fees and Financial Aid

On an average 3-4 lakh expenditure for 4 years if admitted through cet exam. UAS Raichur has good hostels only mess bill have to be paid (4000/ max per month) 20-25000 deposit once while admission in 1st year. Every year 1500 admission fee for hostels. Deposit amount will be given back by end of degree. Education is good at UAS Raichur.

Campus Life

Good library, good canteen, big ground NSS and NCC available. Well equipped smart class rooms. Good hostels . good number of books and journals available.university and college website is available for students access.

Admission

Strength in uas raichur is less compared to other agricultural universities . Teaching faculty are more. Library and canteen facilities available.it was near to my native.admission is given to college through cet exam.pcmb and practical agriculture exam is conducted and separate practical exam ranking given

Semester wise exam. 8 semesters are there. State tour in 3rd year and all india tour in 4th year. ELP in fourth years and RAWE program in 4th year for understanding farmers problem and to get practical exposure for students

very good and affordable college with good hostel facilitites.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was very well structured with both theoretical and Practical exposure. The curriculum is designed in such a way that they are very relevant to real world , this also prepare the students to the real world applications and further academic pursuits. The improvements can be made in the practical part of the courses. There must be regular field visits and utilisation of funds to bring innovation. The internal exam would be after 2 to 2.5 months after the commencement of the semester and practical exams would be immediately after 10 days of the internals. The external or final exams would be after a month of practical exams. There will be enough time to prepare for the exams from the commencement of the semester but there will be no study holidays and gaps between the exams.

In this course placement is very low but other competative job is many more.5th semester students are eligible for compus placement. Fertilizer and agriculture engineering companies are visiting in this college. 3 lack package will given in company. Average 9cgp will taken every student. My gole is KAS will study after degree.

The course curriculum is fully based on botany particularly Horticulture like fruits, vegetables, flowers, plantations, medicinal, and aromatic plants. I have chosen this because many govt jobs are available in this field. Our class has nearly 58 students. All professors are M.Sc. or Ph.D. with NET-qualified lectures. 3 exams will be conducted in a semester.
