Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

They don't teach u according to u they will teach u according to the time they are left for exams because they have a complete syllabus before that time. the curriculum is pretty good like u can achieve something in life if you follow that. And their exams are medium level difficult if you study the important topics u can score pretty decent in your semester exams. as my course in computer science so they are teaching C language which is not that much advanced for nowadays industry.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

They wil provide internships for students in the 4th semester and they will also help you with projects like they will give you resources for your project and will mentor you if you have any good ideas. They also have an entrepreneurship cell in which they will help u if you want to make a startup.

Placement Experience

4

In the last year the students were eligible to sit for placements and they ned to mantain a certain CGPA and have 75% attendance. There are good on campus placements here with a minimum package of 2 LPA and the highest of 14 LPA ,here many companies visit like TCS, infosys, cognizzant, Accenture, Berger, Microsoft, etc. Here 60-70% of students get placed. My plans after completing my degree are to land a job and after 2-3 years of experience and I will pursue my master of computer science.

Fees and Financial Aid

Now I am paying 60000 for the first year and 65000 for the second year and the same for the third year.In first year there are additional charges like additional fees of 15000, caution money of 3000 and registration fees of 5000 for the first year only. After that, there is only academic fees. they take fees per semester wise. There are scholarship also like state wise scholarships and academic scholarships also in which you need to score into certain criteria of academic marks. and there are financial aids also.

Campus Life

4.5

They have different events for different departments like technical events for IT students, medical events for life science students etc. There are total of 4 libraries in campus with vast varieties of books in their libraries like journals, documentaries, etc. There are lot of extra curricular activities going on in campus like they have sports day, having official college team for each sport and they play with different colleges. There are a total of 200 something association clubs in college and and social groups also.

Admission

I applied to 5-6 colleges. First in galgotias University in greater noida for Bca, Amity Raipur in Chhattisgarh, Sarla Birla University, ranchi, Jharkhand, and kristu jayanti in Bangalore and I got selected in all of them but I took my decision while thinking of location and future scope because many MNCs and startups have offices here in Bangalore and I can have internships here and can get future jobs here. The admission process here at Kristu Jayanti College consists of 3 steps first you need to fill application form and after that, if u get shortlisted then you will have to appear for a personal interview and if you pass that also then you will have to pay 70% of first-year fees and after that your admission is confirmed. they acceptance rate here is like 70%.

Faculty

2.5

I think that they have 1:100 ratio of student teacher .Some professors are good and cool but some are rude because they only care about your attendance and notes and assignments otherwise they don't care.but professors here will help u with your personal and professional life both if u have any problems, you can share that with them

Interview Experience

3.5

In interview they ask if you have basic knowledge of course that u are going to pursue and have some personality like I was giving interview dor bsc Computer science so they asked me about syntax, microprocessor etc. I prepared by asking other seniors and studied about the basics of the course.

The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.
