Curriculum was not updated with the latest technology. I was in Mechanical engineering Department and my curriculum was too old. Yes labs are good and practical. Teachers help us to prepare for the exam , they complete the syllabus. My suggestion for the curriculum is to add the latest technology like EVs, AI etc. Exams frequencies are too fast in every 25 days there is an examination and the difficulty level is medium in all examinations.

From 7th semester students are eligible for the placement. There is a Traning and placement cell which will help you to got placed in a company. A company named DXC Technology India ( In which I got placed) , their drive was started in june 2022 and they completed their drive by August 2022 after that they started online foundational training in May 2023. After completion of training they said that they will onboard us by april 2024 but they didn't. Currently I am unemployed and writing the review for 100 rupees. In college record You will see 70 to 80% students are place. There are placements but for the CS , IT and other computer branches not good for mechanical. And T&P cell will not help you if you will not help yourself. The highest package at that time was 11lpa and the avg was 3.6 lpa.

I got Fee Waiver Seat so my tution fee was waived off. I paid 49000 in my first year after that I paid 18000, 15000, 18000 per year and 8000 for examination fee on aktu portal. My batchmates paid 100000 more than me which is tution fee. There is no any other concession in fee for anyone. Other students, eligible ones, got scholarship from up govt.

There is no any cultural fest, parties or concert in AKGEC. I got only two parties which is Freshers party and farewell party. Library is good you will all the necessary books and journals regarding your course. College have many sport courts like, football, badminton, vollyball, cricket etc. Some groups/clubs are there which is run by the senior students of the college. I didn't remember the name of the clubs but there are 4 to 5 clubs for dance, drama, music, fashion etc.

I applied for all Govt. Colleges but my rank was not upto the mark so I got this college. Honestly I didn't choose the college, college chooses me. I got the addmission through AKTU's entrance exam i.e. UPSEE and addmission process is so simple in the college techers and other staff will help you to fill the form and doing all the formalities. Cut off was little bit high in the college because this college is best private engineering college in ghaziabad.

The faculty to student ratio is good, I don't know the exact number but there are 40 to 50 student in a class for 1 teacher and I don't think this is a bad ratio. I liked the Prof. Bandana Sharma, who taught us Applied Physics in 1st year. I like her because she is so calm and she teaches like we are in junior school. For me she is the best faculty. I hated Ex HOD of Mechanical Engineer, because he was too strict about his rules and regulations. His teaching method is for professionals not for students because he thinks that everyone knows the basics. There are two Setional Tests, One Pre University Test and One University Test in a semester. Also there are many class tests it depends on the faculty.
