Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum in terms of relevance is definitely because the college gave so much options to students of all the courses like we can choose whatever type skills we want to learn like yoga,IT companies, sports for life, figital empowerment and many more and all are mostly for practical and skills development.there as once a week lecture and all the practical. Lecture were long like 4 hours in a week and practical like 1 hours whenever the class is.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Recently the Vice chancellor intership came in and all students from 2nd year can participate in this intership. This is flexible intership that has to work only 20hours per weeks and provides a monthly stipend of 10000. I am not gone for intership so I don't know more

Placement Experience

4.5

From the 3rd semester students eligible for intership and for placement after 6th semester. There are so many companies like Amazon, Google and many more companies visited in Delhi University and gave some students to opportunity to participate. I don't know the Highest but average is 34000 . There was a small percentage like 7-8% students were get placements. My plans after graduation is UPSC.

Fees and Financial Aid

I opted B.A Programme and the fees of this course is 12855 per year.It is quite affordable price courses in naitreyi college. All the courses are very nominal fee.like the my course B.A Programme Tution fee is 180 Caution fee is 250 Registration fee is 250 Admission fee is 2900 University welfare fee is 250 University development fund is 1200 University facilities and services charge is 1000 College student welfare fund is 3994 College development fund is 4018 College facilities and services charge is 1763 And other couses like BSC (hons) or programme course fee is 16665.whereas for B.com (hons) or programme course fee is same as us 12855. Prime minister scholarship are available for students in Delhi University Students for admission.

Campus Life

3.5

All the festival are celebrated in the college like Ganesh chaturthi, Janmashtami, Navratra (dandiya) , and all jayanti also they gave respect to the ideal ones. All the books that we need in our college syllabus are available in college library. Some of competitive exams books are also available.daily newspapers are always available. Class is nice but less spacious.not ac rooms Sports and all circular activities are best in all college of Delhi University.

Admission

I applied for Hindu College of Delhi University but i got Maitreyi College of Delhi University.I choose this college because of there is too many societies and from this we explore more new things in which we are interested in. No there is no rejection but other college cut off were so high so therefore that not match my score thatwhys my dream college not alloted to me. The whole admission process is taken by CUET BY NTA . The eligibility criteria for this college is choose the subjects that we are studied in class 12 and some of subject combination for all particular courses. And we gave cuet entrance exam and cleared the seat for Delhi University. There are cutoff so high in cuet in this year i can't take the course as i want.

Faculty

4.5

•The faculty of ours is good at teaching . Teachers were too intellectual with students and their future. They always ask for doubts and problems . Gives all the notes that they teach in class. •I like the B.Com faculty because they gave soo much intership to students in their college years. So they all students more skills with the intership. •I don't personally any faculty that i hate or didn't like all faculty is nice. •There are 2semester in every year. And their question is moderate like if we were take all the classes it is easy for us to solve. Not so many but some students were fails in exams.our Vac is for circular we can choose more circular subjects for our course.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
