INDUSTRIAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT (IPM) is one of the subject which makes us job ready and prepares for real-world scenarios. Many companies esteemed experts are coming for this particular subject to judge our project and gives overview to make corrections and changes to make it more efficient and feasible. College can go for more practical knowledge in problems solving subjects like in coding , DSA rather than pen paper. The frequency and timings of exam along with difficulty level is more than sufficient. 1.5 month prior notice is given and 12-15 days study leave not including the gap between two exams.

After the completion of 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements. My plans after getting the degree to join a software company prefer product based company for new exposure. If no placement is offered then obviously I'm going for the higher studies and along with this degree. I'm preparing for Gate exams so continue to that.

In my college, fee in increasing every year by 20,000. i.e; per semester 10,000. My batch is 2022-2026 in my time fee was 1.5 lakh per year. Tution fee is around 75,000 registration fee is ?500(one-time) admission fee is around ?24,000(one-time), Development fees,lab fees and the other compulsary charge is 6000(one-time). Examination fee is not included in semester fee that is ?1200 per semester without back. There is no hidden charges in the college. There is another category of students is fee waiver in that student must belongs to the state west bengal with valid documents then his/her fee get reduced. One of my friend is paying 1,05,000 for admission and after that 57,000 for each semester. Alumni scholarship is given to around 30-40 students of each batch with Valid reason and valid documents if required.

IEM IETI CLUB , IEM IEEE CLUB They are organising different events which inhances different leadership, management skills.

I choose Institute of Engineering & Management Kolkata because it gives better placement opportunities than the difference private colleges in Kolkata even if eliminate 2 or 3 government colleges then it gives better placement opportunities then the esteemed government colleges of west bengal too. I got rejected from the Jadavpur University because of my rank in WBJEE. Eventually I'm getting admission opportunity in Jadavpur in last round which is MOP-UP ROUND but I'm getting printing Engineering that is not my interest. Admission process in my college is through JEE MAINS , WBJEE RANK or Management seats. Eligibility criteria is more than 60% marks in 12th standard. For any course if you have good rank in JEE MAINS OR WBJEE then you get easily selected. Most of the students prefer WBJEE rank for their admission including me. Overall admission experience is good.

Faculty to student relationship is Good they are cooperative in every situation. Student to faculty ratio is 40:1. Faculties are easily approachable via message, e-mail or call. All of the faculty members are good. It is difficult for me to choose one but prof. SWAGATAM BASU is one of the best faculty. Because he makes complex think easier to understand. No such professor but Assi. Amit nandy physics lab (1st year lab assistant) is made different. Bcz He is neither cooperative nor understandable. There are 2 mid semester exams and an End semester exams with final practical exam. Mid semester are medium level questions. End semesters are both medium & hard level questions. All questions are relevant to the course curriculum. Most of the students passes the exam. Few get back paper but number in single digit for a department.
