Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I wanted to mba in marketing so i pursued this course to know about my management skills . The course curriculum was a good thing that hepls you to explore many expects that might will help you to face variety of things in future . The college rules doesn't allow us to bring parents with ours so we need to do all the work by self that makes us independent . They might need to add more practical work rather than the theoretical part. The semesters gap was of 6 months after every six months we need to give exams and they does have summer and winter breaks along with government registered holidays.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I didn't remember the companies names completely by now but Himalaya and agro was one of them and there were some ngo also that were providing internship to students. The aspects they were asking for the job and internship was sales , hr , editing ,content creation , management, social , fundraising, digital marketing, and teaching.

Placement Experience

3

So after the thrid sem exams students were elegibile to being the part of placements and internships. Some comapny visited like Himalaya, agro and some privates ones also there and some ngo were also there. The highest package offered to the hons students only and we get the average packeage of 120000 to 150000 . Only sum students get this. I wanted to mba so didn't accept any offer and i got selected for only an intership and 2 jobs with the avergae package

Fees and Financial Aid

I had paid 4400 rupess at my admission time and then in second year i had paid 4600 rupees and in third i had paid 6400 rupees. Expect this the semester wise exam fees will be 550 and if you have any er in any subject or you wanted to fill an improvement form than you will be charged 450 per subject and if you have any skill subject i had practical exam then you need to pay extra 160 rupees per subject . After the graduation you will be able to receive that concession fess back by filling an clearance form . I'm a general category student thats why i didn't get any financial aides type of things . But that facility has been given to many students who can pass there eligibility criteria. And those students who doesnt have parents they were also eligible for the scholarship.

Campus Life

3.5

We does many fest like diwali fest , Navratri fest ,holi fest , lohdi fest , food fest and anual functions. The range of books to my subjects weren't available there but the subjects which hons student have they got the wide range of books there. We didn't get any technology facility . The sport's part was there but i naver participated in them . But as a normal students we are allowed to use them things form the sports room.

Admission

I did get 85.25 percent in 12th according to the course elegibility. They does inculde only 4 subjects marks . At my time i got admission through my 12th percentage my now for the admission process student's need to give cuet exam. I got this college through my percentage colleges i didn't get any other college for the same course with the same percentage that cutoffs would really high that time.

Faculty

2.5

I faculty rotio was good even if we doesn't have any teacher they appointed us the guest teachers . I like some of the faculty members like my maths teacher and management teachers other two subjects teacher i never ever liked in any semester they were always rude to us.the administration staff were sometimes good and sometimes rude also . Maybe they didn't able to handle such the hactic schedule the was being created at the exam time. I gave 24 exam throughout my graduation in firsf year the exam was easy in second year it was moderate and in third year it was difficult. In third year any past years won't help us. The maximum students that had failed those only failed in maths exam not in any other . Despite they cleared them in next year . Somehow you can feel they were giving you exposure of variety of things that might be useful in future.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
