- The faculty members provide appropriate guidance as per the activeness of the student.
- Along with the studies of degree level they also guide for various upcoming entrance exams like GATE, CAT, NET, etc.
- The lab instruments can be freely used by the students as per their free time from the schedule to complete lab work on time.
Dislikes
- The area of the campus is quite too small.
- Parking area should be maintained well so that no blockage of the roads take place.
- Proper management of the toilet area should also takes place.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is much improved then the earlier times as because the pattern is changed which gives you a wide opportunity to move on to the field in the upcoming times. The exams are conducted 4 times a year, 2 are end semester exams and 2 are sessional exams and the paper is set in such a way that students can get the passing marks. The areas where it needs to be improved is that students should be little bit more clear regarding the subject selection for SEC and IDC .
Fees and Financial Aid
So, basically the fees structure got increased now as it was earlier 5000 and now presently it's 8000. And the students those who have a picture of plantation and lower income certificate can also apply for the fee waiver admission where no money is taken. Regarding scholarship NSP provides a wide field under the range of income suitable to which the student gets access under the scheme.
Campus Life
The campus life is not quite cheerful, as the area is not vast and big enough. It doesn't have proper parking area for the faculties. Though the involvement in various kinds of club and parties provide students a huge platform to build up various capabilities based on the field he/she has an interest. Getting chance to participate in games and sports to various kinds of activities, etc. Overall the activiness of the students in the college provides huge role in upcoming path of their career.
Admission
I have choosed this college as because it has good reputation since from past some years. As I have appeared for JEE till then due to some criteria though I qualified I didn't got seats and as because I missed my english CUET-UG exams I didn't got seat in Tezpur University too. So at last I took spot admission in Arya Vidyapeeth, Guwahati where I got my seat in Physics Department based on merit.
Faculty
The number of faculty in the departments are allotted as per the capacity of the seats of student. Faculty members approach to the student regarding any queries for studies, entrance exams, rather any other issues. Students being active and obedient gets great advantage of the guidance provided. And the exams are conducted in a medium range of the paper type as so that all the students could easily pass the exams. The course is planned in such a way that within the timing in a proper manner the course could be easily completed.
