When I was applying for engineering, I had filled applications for a few other NITs and state engineering colleges, but finally I chose NIT Hamirpur because of its good academic reputation, supportive campus environment, and better placement opportunities compared to the others. Some colleges I applied to had very high cutoffs and I couldn’t make it there because my JEE Main score was slightly lower than required, but NIT Hamirpur’s cutoff matched my rank, so I got admission here. The admission process was through JEE Main followed by JoSAA counseling, which is the most common and preferred route for B.Tech aspirants. The eligibility was 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and the cutoff for civil engineering here was comparatively achievable for me. The overall admission process was transparent and smooth, from registering for counseling to final seat allotment. I felt this college was the right choice because it offered a balance of good academics, infrastructure, and campus life, which was better than the options I had in hand....Read More

I applied just in government degree college , kullu where I opted bsc but this college is far better than Kullu College in terms of facilities to faculty, as well as ranking , reputation. We can get admission in this college by giving jee main and students get this by josaa and csab counselling online. I gave JEE Mains 2022 exam and secured crl rank 29203, after JOSAA rounds i got a seat at NIT Hamirpur ,i got all the information and notification at jossa's site about application form,fees and applying dates At the institution i got all the details about the reservation belonging to particular category and stages of family income. the offline verification of the documents at the institute is very difficuilt , so if possible the students will be categorised as their courses and called according so that the verification can be done easily...Read More

NIT Hamirpur offers more than 30 programmes at UG, PG and doctoral level. Candidates seeking admission to any of these courses must appear for the respective entrance exam and qualify its cutoff. NIT Hamirpur offers a four-year BTech programme across nine specialisations in full-time mode. The selection of candidates to NIT Hamirpurs BTech programme is based on their JEE Main score. The centralised counselling process is managed and regulated by the JoSAA, based on which the candidates are allotted seats.
