Course Curriculum Overview
BA Hons. Economics from DU is one of the most wanted courses in Delhi University and given how famous it is, it is equally hard to get into it. First, the course structure is quite amazing and regressive at the same time. You learn a lot and you often won't find time to actually just lay around. Some of the parts of the course structure though are very outdated and not good. They could use some update and be much more helpful.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was Tuition Fee, Activity Fee, and even Exam fee all of which summed to about 17-18k and it kept increasing from 1st year where it was just 15000. Some kids found it difficult to pay the fee and there was no good Scholarship schemes for such children so it became tough for some to continue their studies.
Campus Life
My campus experience has been vibrant, with active participation in clubs and leadership roles that helped me grow socially and professionally. I headed the economics society with the post of Editor in chief and that really helped me ptofessionally. The fests weren't very amazing but they were fun with friends. The supportive infrastructure and engaging community fostered connections, collaboration, and lasting friendships.
Admission
The whole admission process in delhi University is quite amazing with very low effort you can easily be admitted. I couldn't get a better college hence i chose this college but i do not regret choosing it because the faculty at my college is one of the most understanding ones and very helpful. I honestly enjoyed my classes with the professors
Faculty
The faculty was very good. I personally enjoyed all my classes the teachers were well versed in their content and also very helpful. A lot of times if you had doubts teachers were very willing to help you. I was appearing for some entrances for masters my teachers helped me with the practice for that as well. Very helpful teacher. The number of students failing though was high, but it was usually the people who were not regular with their classes and missed almost all classes
