What Students Say

Likes

The HOD of our department that is Chetan kr is very supportive and his teaching is top notch and the other faculty are also good
The canteen of our college is well maintained and they offer good quality food
And talking about the college ambience we have beautiful trees and a big cricket stadium

Dislikes

The parking offered for our bikes is not sufficient it will always be crowded
We need to pay bus fee even though ur home is beside the college

I chose the ai&ml course because of my interest towards python The curriculum has the project and this will give insights to the real world applications The improvement is needed is by giving more n more internship opportunities He will be having 4-5 months gap between the start and end day of the semester

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 98750 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee I paid was 98759 as I got a government seat and get a scholarship of around 18000 and fee I mentioned above was for the 2021 batch and it's increasing to our juniors if you belong to SC-ST, the scholarship will be around 60000

Campus Life

We have the janvey the annual festival which will be on every even sem in the college and not gonna lie it can be lot better compared to other colleges The books are available in the library of our college and you can get access to them easily We have a smart classroom the classrooms are good Coming to extracurricular activities we do have football, cricket inter college competitions and lots more

Admission

The other college I applied to was pesit and I got addmission offer from both mine and pesit colleges I opted this college for their placement rate was high compared to pesit I didn't got rejection from either of the college Eligibility for our college firstly u can opt for management seats and secondly is by writing kcet exam n getting the cutoff rank

Faculty

Talking about the faculty to students ratio it's about 1:10 Also we the students have mentor's,the group of 20 students is allotted to one mentor who keep checks on them The best faculty of our department is Chetan kr , he is a abundance of knowledge The faculty I dislike is Ashwini jp mam the reason was she demotivates the students (she did to me ) We will be having 3 internals and one 1external exam for each subject

Placement Experience:

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

Lower tier Engineering colleges

I had no idea about engineering , I scored very less in KCET surprisingly . I had no one for advice and people made it so obvious that engneering is the standard of education . I did not seek proper guidance and was mislead by admission sector people referring to Electronics as both software and hardware demanding sector and there is scope to grow . But in reality very less requirement ratio of electronics students exists. JNNCE was told to be better than any other engineering college near me due to it's longevity.
