Course Curriculum Overview

4

Prestigious and Old College All departments well established since 1972 Fees very much affordable No service bond after Mbbs Present in the centre of city not like other colleges that are located in periphery. Heavy patient load provides too much of experience. Only big Hospital in the City . Very well equipped labs and classes.

Internships Opportunities

3

Compulsary internship of 12months is offered to every student after mbbs . Internship is rotatory and students are placed in different departments like ortho , gynae , emergency services , ENT ,etc. Students are required to serve in the same college for 12 months .

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for the 1st year - 26820 For 2nd year - 9500 For 3rd and 4th year - 6000-7000 ( approx) Total fees for 5 years - 45000 to 50000(approx) Hostel fees ranges for 3500 per year with a security of 5000 rupees(one time )

Campus Life

3

There is a whole cultural and sports week in the month of October or November. It is followed by a Dj night organised by sports committee. There is sports complex equipped with volleyball, squash , table tennis , and badminton courts . New gym is also being installed in the sports complex. Also there is a basketball court in hostel . And a cricket ground infront of sports complex.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel is 5 mins walking from the college and hospital. Students can give application to the hostel warden for hostel accommodation. Yearly fees is 3500 with one time security money deposit of 5000. Mess charges are seperate, it is on diet basis.. students pay accordingly. Overall three time meals cost 110 rupees per day.

Admission

I chose this college over there because of the following aspects 1- College fees is very minimal . 2- No service Bond after MBBS 3- Very old and established college . Admission process is through NEET UG Exam .

Faculty

3.5

All faculties are very well qualified. Classes are very well scheduled from 9 to 4 with a practical class of 1.5hrs and 30 mins lunch break . Terms exams are held twice in year, and university exams are held at the end of session .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are held on time, and for the same thing we are given tentative dates at the time of admission. But the problem is university exams(final exams), they are never held on time as the university with which the college is affiliated has cumbersome works to do, as it is the only university in the state. Difficultly level is average, MBBS as a course itself is difficult, but percentage of marks givenare less as compared to other universities.
