Course Curriculum Overview

3

This course is very noble and professional and the job expectancy is so high and also we can earn a good amount by doing really hard work This profession provides inner relief when the patient and their relatives thank us

Internships Opportunities

2

Internship is compulsory for all students of bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery it last for 365 days in which we have to work for all day and night without any such break it is really very difficult and as stipen they provide us only 13000 a month which is very less as compared to other states

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees 10k average It is about 8500 no benefits for category students All the national scholarships are avail for all students like nps scholarship or ongc scholarship which provides good amount of money.

Campus Life

3

There are a lot of fests that occurs in our college and also there are trips but all these stuffs are manange by students and the college authority donot provide any support in this aspect and also we have sports week in which we enjoy a lot by playing different games

Hostel Facilities

2

I have joined hostel on March 2023 but paying a total of 8000 out of which 5000 is security fees which they will pay me back after a time when i leave the college Mess is not good they don't provide any hygiene food that we expect after clearing neet exam

Admission

Government medical College Jammu is the best college in Jammu and kashmir as compared to other colleges like gmc srinagar gmc Anantnag gmc rajouri gmc kathua gmc baramulla gmc doda. It lies in the main city area of Jammu

Faculty

3

Faculty is neither too good nor too bad they are just average helping students sometimes and sometimes they become the evil.but the good thing is we used to go to college for attendance not for study that we used to do from online platform

Night Life

3

Nightlife is absolutely fine there is no problem in our government medical college jammu .we used to live in hostel and it is completely fine as we consider about nightlife we can wonder outside whenever we want area is good it is bakshinagar 180001

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Chose MBBS by my choice The more the practical and clinicals u perform the better u understand things rather than books . Real life experience is important I think what should be improved is that focus should be more on things that are more important for being a doctor. More towards clinical aspects more towards practical performance and less on things needed to cram Timing for exam of 80 mark is 3 hrs and is quite good enough time. 20 marks are of mcqs so total 100 mark.
