Duration of mid sem exam is 1 hour, Duration of end sem exam is 3 hours.

Students become eligible from the last semester of the degree for the campus placements. Infosys , TCS , Mahindra tech, Axis bank , HDFC bank, Aditya Birla, Airtel, Byju's, Amazon, etc are the companies visited for campus placement, Average campus placement for 3year undergraduate course is 2.4 lakh rupees, 318 students from 3 years undergraduate course were placed. Highest salary package offered at DAV College Chandigarh has ranged from 7 LPA to 37 LPA. After getting degree I will go for post graduation ( MBA)

The biggest fest held in College is kaarvaan which is typically held in March every year, it is held for 3 days, celebrities and singers come to perform during the fest there are food stalls and games and many for things to do. There are many more festivals takes place in collage from different clubs, like Dav aesthetica, enactus club rotract club, economics club, etc.

Boys hostel in Dav college named as BTC boys hostel have capacity of around 250 persons, It has 2 types of rooms Ac and non ac, Rent for ac room is 120000 per year Rent for non AC room is 100000 per year 3 and 2 sharing rooms are available One single bed, cupboard and study table is provided for each student in room. Food quality is good , every day different food is offered. Four meals are provided in a day, Breakfast, kind, evening tea and snack , dinner.

I choose this collage because it is a good respected collage for commerce and mainly it's affiliated to Panjab university . In comparison with other colleges I applied for it has a better location (sector 10 Chandigarh) and is more affordable. Its tuition fees is 3-4 times cheaper than other collages I applied for. Admission process:- Admissions are given on basis of merit, There are reservations for scheduled caste, OBC , economically weaker section, union territory quota , etc.

There are enough faculty members to handle students. Almost all teachers and other faculty members maintain good relationship with students. There are 2 types of exams, which are held twice in an year in each semester. In odd sem firstly mid sem examination is held in which half syllabus for the semester (unit 1) is asked, Then final examinations end sem examination is held in which full syllabus for the semester (unit1,2) is asked.
