What Students Say
Likes
- The environment as we have a lot of greenary around here.
- The friends I made as I'm super happy with my college life.
- There are a lot of extracurricular activities for 2nd and 3rd year students
Dislikes
- Teaching methods as most of the time the lectures are really boring.
- Too many assignments or work load, because of which we don't have any extra time.
- The college doesn't have ac in all the classrooms only students of 1st year and staff rooms have AC and being situated in Mumbai I think AC are a need.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and syllabus is pretty easy if you study hard enough. It is updated and you are most likely to get a good pointer as teachers help you throughout whenever you need help. Some of the subjects need improvement as they seem to be outdated.
Placement Experience
The average placement is not something I'm happy about but overall you can get placed if you work hard enough for it. The companies do come in our college and as it is now an autonomous college we are expecting more companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
They do provide a government school if you take admission through CAP rounds and the scholarship covers almost 40-45% of yearly fee. Per year fee is around 130000 and it does not include the files for submission. For scholarship you should not have any backlogs or KTs.
Campus Life
The campus life is really good. The whole are is in a garden. There are good sitting areas. There are many committee's you could join. The college itself is pretty vast but the only thing that's of concern is there are no Ac's in classroom from 2nd year onwards.
Admission
The highest package of this college is of 33lpa and of EXTC branch that's why I chose this college over AP Shah where I was getting CS but the package was comparatively low. You can get admission in this college through CAP round.
Faculty
I really have some great teachers especially teachers who teach maths. Whenever we cross paths they ask about my studies, my health, family and everything. Teachers here are really friendly (not all of them).
