Every thing about RIT

The curriculam of the college is good they conduct 2 exams in every 1.5 months and an external exam at the end of the semester . In between they also provide you many fest like dandiya night ,frshers,annual festival ,halloween party etc . The courses of the curriculm is good they messedup some times but overall the coureses are good for the prepration of real world . They also provide trainings for the students every year

The placement opportunity is worst at RIT they does't provide you much placement offers , Only 10 to 15 companies visit every year and they offer very low packages like 2 to 4lpa last year in 2023 only 30-40 students gets placed from 150 students if you want to get a good placement you have to hustle hard and you have to try your luck offcampus

In Rit roorkee yearly fees for cse student is 111500 and for specialised student they charge 10000 extra for cse ai&ml fees is 121500 ,fees for the core branches like mechanincal and civil are lower than compare to cse branches .They also provide scholarshps for sc/st students and for girls also every girl recives 50k of scholarship every year. they also provide scholarship for students who's parents are officers

Campus lufe is very poor at RIT firstly they have senior junior concepts where seniors take juniors intro in hostels at night you can't wear shorst outside the hostel ,if your are wearing shorts out side the hostel then some seniors will come to you and bully you to not to wear shorts . the infrastructure of the college is also very old the college was built in 2005 the need the renovation they have 4 to 5 clubs but they are not that great for the social exposer the clubs come into actions only around fests

Hostel are very over charged the charges you 76 to 90k per year depending upon the type of room you are taking They have 2 types of rooms doubke sharing and triple sharing with ac and without ac .Hostel charges include mess and gym facility but mess food is not that good also the gym need renovation. Cleanliness in the hostel is very bad the toilets are not clean they don't clean your rooms on daily basis. most of the student leave the hostel after one year and try for pg and rented flats

The main reason I choose this college is ,I get cse branch very easily in different colleges i had applied i was getting electrical in DTU but after choosing this college i was regreting that I shouls have choosen DTU over RIT irrespective of branch another reason for choosing this college is , the fee structure ,the fee structure is very low compared to other colleges and the degree they provide is also govt degree

The faculty members are not that much able to teach you the complete concept ,They will just come in class to read pdf from the internet .Some faculty members are good they are vvery well educated and know the concepts but this type of teachers left the college in 1 year .Overall faculty teaching experience is not good In RIT they conduct 2 internal exams name CIE1 and CIE2 and one externl exam , external exam is very unpredictable you just have to write whether you are writting right or worng they will give you marks you just need good handwritting demerit of this is that the student who does't know the concepts gets the higher marks then the stundent whi actually know the concepts
