Likes
- I like the environment of the college as it has less drama and the one thing I'm happy about is that our college does not provoke any tribe or community. Thus, tribalism is absent
- The professors are well educated and teaches us with excellence and they are punctual and sincere in their works
- The college is affordable and doesn't charge money regarding other side expenses
Dislikes
- Some of the students lack discipline and manners.
- We usually don't get to go on field trips and excursions.
- The college doesn't provide Master course for most of the subjects.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was always interested in Politics this, ended up in the political science department. I had heard that the professors out there were very professional and thus I had to join it as soon as possible. My expectations were made and hasn't been that disappointing so far
Internships Opportunities
The college gave all the students of the 5th Semester to take part in the summer internship with took place from June to July in collaboration with many different firms and establishments. This gave the students to unlock their unknown potential and helped me in my communication skills alot. There were a variety of options for the students as to pick the internship of their choice and skills
Fees and Financial Aid
We have a one time admission fee for the whole semester which roughly rounds upto 5000 per semester so that's 10000 for a year since there are 2 semester completed within a year. Scholarships are less compared to private institutions as we are a government institute. This our total scholarships round upto 3000-7000
Campus Life
We have a 44 thousand square kilometre area with vast areas for students to relax and take rest during off periods. This college is open and provides a lot of facilities in it. To my surprise it had its own park for students to take a break during off class as well. The college also has a candeen for students which provides good meals
Hostel Facilities
Currently I'm staying in a hostel and the facilities are not that bad. The fooding tops the features of the hostel. It's a 10 minutes travel from my college and provides a lot of facilities like free wifi and home cooked meals. We have seperate washrooms for every student and thus accordingly the fees are quite a sum
Admission
This college had made its name within Nagaland University and it was a favourite of my parents as well. I had other options in mind but ended up in this institution. I don't regret the fact that i joined this college and it has been one of my best decisions made so far. My parents were a leading factor as well
Faculty
The arts block has been renovated recently so it's not in a sour shape. However they should install a generator as the electricity is very unstable. The scorching heat is a great distraction during classes. There are around 20 classrooms in the arts block followed by the same number of rooms in both the commerce and science block.
