I cant really think of anything that i dont like about the campus
Mess food is okayish only and not great as expexted
Hostels are not as clean although they are trying their best to clean the hostel

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the course that I am doing which is civil eng a 7/10 because the placements are not that great but if u go for it you can bag a very high placement on your own skills. The college has amazing opportunities to offer. One need to capture tyem when proposed.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are amaing as we usually get internship mails regarding every field from very huge companies as well as new startups. The internship block is very effective regarding the internship mails.

Placement Experience

Placements are going amazing. A lot of seniors got 50lpa plus ppo from their internship that I personally know of. The placement is ongoing so I wont be able to tell that much but placement is going amazing than other iits.

6 lakhs per annum for 4 years Tuition fees 2,20,000 per sem It inc 10% annually There are no reservations Merit Cum Need scholarship is awarded to family having a annual income less than a certain amt This year it was 15 lpa

Campus Life

Overall i liked the campus. There are a lot of fests. Actiually four fests happen in one year. Last year we had singers like krsna and arpit bala. That was one of the best nights one had in bits pilani

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility are really good We have double sharing and single sharing room. In summers one might beed cooler or somethin but in winters its fully isolated so we dont get cool air entering our room unless someone opens up the door.

Hostel Fee: INR 24000 per year

Admission

I chose BITS for its connections over other college. As we know BITS in itself is amazing in its own ways. The alumni here in BITS have opened really amazing startups which are highly valued. Also a lot of alumni is working in high companies at very hugh posts.

Faculty

Faculty members are really awesome. They are highly educated and have higher educations like phds and masters in the subject they teach in campus. There are around 2 main exams in a sem. That are mids and ends.

Interview Experience

For admission we usually have to give bitsat exam. It is quite same as jee mains exam which every engineering student gives after 12th to get admission in engineering colleges. It is quite easy than jee advanced

Placement Experience:

the placement scenario of my college is imrpoving every year but it was still not as good as it was when we were at MNIT jaipur campus given the placement of last year but this year it seems to have imrpoved by a lot since there are much more companies visiting our campus this year the few companies visited are NVIDIA, VISA, E-SARAL, AMAZON, MEESHO, MYNTRA etc nvidia offered a 65lpa package and esaral offered 3 35LPA package the packages of other companies are not revealed yet. the highest package this year is 1CR+ but it's an off campus placement the highest on campus placement is 65 lpa by NVIDIA there are around 80% students getting placed every year inclduing on campus and off campus both few goes for higher studies such as M.TECH or MBA but there's stilla good amount of people getting placed every year out of which 40-50% are onn campus. my plans are to get a placement after college then if i get the opportunity and right consition then i might pursue M.TECH and PHD in foreign country

Placement Experience:

There are many companies that visited our university like amazon, deloitte, google,Microsoft, TCS, hcl tech etc. The highest placement of these year was 33 lpa and average was 7-8 lpa. These year our university got 1200+ offers and still counting. The companies mostly select based on skills and not cgoa, so if you have enough skills then you can easily clearly interviews and get placement.

campus placements at muj are decent but largely depend on individual performance and skill set . there are many companies visited like amazon tcs and microsoft and others they made many offers to students highest package is 25 lpa and average is 6 lpa and minimum is 3 to 4 lpa.roughly 70 to 80 % students get placed. my plains after getting degree is to get a job of highest package.

Placement Experience:

In third year student gets eligible for on campus internships offered by big companies like google and nvidia. from fourth year students gets to sit in placement offered by companies called to colllege if that student pass the eligibility criteria mostly based in CG in semesters. In 2024 highest package from our college was 53 LPA from computer science and engineering. the average package of our college was about 20 LPA for CSE department and can vary based on skills and branch. last year about 92% of Btech students gets on campus placements. In reality i haven't decided what i have to do after getting my degree. I wouls probably do job or opt for Mtech or MBA or maybe least probable i would like to prepare for UPSC.

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges.
