Course Curriculum Overview
I feel it's pretty alright to be honest. It is a bit outdated as to the authors and books we read. Some of it is not designed properly even because this has just started from last year. Considering all these factors it is not really great.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is divided into year-wise system. At the beginning of each academic year around 24000-26000 are taken as the fee depending upon the type of electives I choose (practical papers have higher fee). The bifurcation of the fee structure is not known to us students. SC/ST students have the least fee around 15-16000. PwD candidates also have less fee depending upon their diagnosis. Fee for EWS/OBC/General is the same. IQAC offers a scholarship, the amount depend upon the academic performance of the student. Merit based grants and scholarships are also given if someone tops their respective course in an academic year.
Campus Life
Campus Life has been ablisutely amazing. Made some good friends, had some great time, made good memories. Went on a lot of trips with ECA societies and everything felt really nice. Campus Life in general is also good because the area around college is well developed.
Admission
With CUET coming in the process for admission had sommothened out and that helped us all a lot, since we were able to understand the process in a much better way and carry it out. Everything was digital and there was ease.
Faculty
Faculty is great for Economics Course Structure has recently changed due to NEP and as a result it is : 1 Sem - 3 Core, 4 Electives 2 Sem - 3 Core, 4 Electives 3 Sem - 3 Core, 4 Electives 4 Sem - 3 Core, 4 Electives 5 Sem - 4 Core, 2 Elective 6 Sem - 4 Core, 2 Elective You have the option to do the 4th year too now, but it's curriculum has not been decided yet. Marking scheme depends on paper to paper. Generally it is 70 (Internal) + 90(External).
