Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum that is prevalent in BITs pilani campus is also very good and well managed.But sometimes and usually in the first year the students find it a bit challenging. There is a lot of competition for dual degree students. I think that some burden should be removed from the students.
Placement Experience
The campus placements in the bits pilani is also very good . Everyone has also listened from many people that the average package of Computer science branch is also at par with the other IITs of India. Also many international companies visits bits for on campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees is 690000. Tuition fees of bits is 540000, hostel and mess fees is 40000 each . There are two scholarships criteria, merit cum need and only merit based.MCN is for students whose parents have ITR less than 15 lakh . To avail it generally the cgpa cutoff is 8.5 or above.For merit based top 1% students get 100% scholarship. Fees for students in CSE and are in top 1 % is negligible as compared to the rest
Campus Life
My experience in the bits pilani campus science the starting that scince my first year is very good . In bits pilani students get interacted with other students of different states so socially it is very beneficial for the students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is also very good in the bits pilani campus. In the first year students live in dual rooms and from the third year they are alloted single rooms . You will be given all the facilities that you required in the hostel.
Admission
I choose BITs Pilani over other colleges because my elder cousin's brother was also in this college and I have also come to know that BITs is at par with the top 5 IITs in india. Also my JEE score was also not good enough so I had BITs Pilani as my option.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is very good in bits pilani. All the teachers in the bits pilani campus are very helpful and they are always ready to help you whenever required. I like Manoj Kumar soni sir a lot. There are quizzes , then midsems and then comprehensive exams before the semester end .
